I agree.

I agree it should be ONLY for the Forum Club Members.
I like castles but don’t collect them.
I already have Fletcher and Dexter and all the bear candle lights/lamps. I have the right and left hand candle lamps too. I have not been able to get them on the wall yet though. I have the one that looked like it was made for the center too.December 30, 2008 at 5:52 pm #744248I would love a Paper Tiger. There are even a few people I could give them to as gifts. From what I read from John’s post Windstone could also use the club as an outlet for overstock. I like that idea, I could maybe get a few pieces that I normally could not afford.
December 30, 2008 at 7:42 pm #744249BUT if the club pieces are only over stock then they are not special JUST for the club AND as I have already said, on at least these choices, I already have most of them so what would make these special?
I do need the paper tiger though and have been watching e-bay for it but keep having it go too high for me now
December 31, 2008 at 3:40 pm #744250😆 I think that what amiyu meant was overstock stuff in addition to the club pieces. It would make sense to have something only for club members and also offer overstock at a discounted price. You’ve been collecting for longer than I have DM and I suspect you have more money to invest in it. It’s only been within the last year I’ve had any extra money to buy Windstones. So for someone like me discounted overstock would help grow my collection and also clear out space for Windstone. If I have to choose between production stuff and E-bay stuff, I’ll buy E-bay stuff and just have less but more unique sculpts.
Of course, DM if you want to share your collection with me I’ll gladly accept 8)
Looking for Blue Fawn Baby Kirin

Sun Dragon Koi #3December 31, 2008 at 7:29 pm #744251Sorry I guess I misunderstood.
I did not realize that the OVERSTOCK discount for Forum members was in addition to a Special Forum piece yearly or so
Who would qualify for the Special Forum Peices though? Only a few of the registered members actually post on a regular basisDecember 31, 2008 at 7:54 pm #744252December 31, 2008 at 9:10 pm #744253I am a staff member, can I still be a club member? 😳
December 31, 2008 at 9:12 pm #744254I’ve never heard of staff members unable to be club members. Most staff members can’t enter company contests, but that’s about it!

Maybe an “any one/two of the above” things? Since some people qualify for some but not all of what you said (I certainly fall into this category so I’d be missing out if all of those would be required).
January 1, 2009 at 12:22 am #744257January 1, 2009 at 1:16 am #744258I would be interested in a Collector’s Club myself if it offered some kind of special discount or access to special pieces…I really only collect Dragons so anything else I would prob skip just out of preference…well that and money is tight.
Not really sure how to handle it though….I know Enchantica used to charge a yearly price with one free membership only piece and access to special pieces and prices…they also tried a newsletter..but it didn’t work well I guess..of course that could be done online now… just my thoughts.
January 1, 2009 at 1:39 am #744259January 1, 2009 at 1:53 am #744260The old Enchantica is gone for sure..though this other company did pick up the license and started producing new pieces..the website isn’t updated from what I can tell..but The Sorcerer’s Library was showing new pieces..and Andrew Bill has Dragonsite ( I don’t think it has a club though ).. my fav artist ( besides Melody of course ) Rob Simpson who also made a lot of Enchantica Dragons was also trying to make his own line. I didn’t know the pocket dragons were gone…thought the last time I saw any was in that company’s catalog that only carried dragon items ..can’t think of the name at the moment…
