Shitajiki (pencilboards). o_o; They’re sheets of plastic with anime/manga art on them. I don’t know why, but I love them. 😀 That is all I really consider a ‘collection’ besides my Windstones. I do have a lot of books and movies, but only because I like to re-read and re-watch them repeatedly. They aren’t something I worry about being in ‘mint’ condition, or any of that nonsense. e.e Just my shitajiki~ <3

ooOOooh!! O.O I did not need to read this! I do not need to start collecting anything else. XD

Oops? XD Hahaha. I should take a picture of them.

Oooohh!! Shitajiki! I have quite a few of these myself <3 6 or 7 of them at least. A bunch from Saiyuki, one or two from fruits basket, and a fullmetal alchemist one. I don't know why, but they are just so "I WANT THAT!" When you see one! ^_^ …………as a matter of fact I am getting that feeling looking at the website kitsunelady posted! LOL!

ROFL! That Grimlock photo is freaking EPIC! ^_^ HAHAHAHAHA!

      Got a busted Windstone?

          Obviously, I collect Transformers!

The shelf looks a little sparse, but that’s only because I can’t stand clutter. I actually have about 600+ figures I’ve been keeping around since was a kid. Usually every month or so I rearrange them so that everyone gets equal love, or to make little scenes like this:

Look at those cheeky Windstones trying to get in the picture! XD

I stick mostly with Optimus Prime when I go to pick up a Transformer toy, but this collection (and the scenes therein, dear old Grimlock) amuses me.

I collect christmas stuff…especially ornaments, Jim Shore, crystals/minerals/rocks/fossils, beanie babies/cute stuffed animals (I use the excuse that they are for my little boy 🙂 ) , I’m sure there’s more but those are the main ones for now. 😀

When I was a kid, I collected small animal figurines. I’m still a sucker for miniatures, but I’ve only kept the pieces I still like.

Otherwise, my biggest collection (before Windstones) are books. Now I’m buying ebooks, so the room issue is moot, but not so for the French comic books (and the empty spot in the top shelf is because my brother took the XIII collection):

              Upstairs

The other books, so all my literature stuff, some various French books, my sci-fi and fantasy stuff and a small section of English comic books.

And a shelf hiding in the corner

Otherwise, by default since we don’t watch TV per se, we have quite a DVD collection.

My husband (and I too, I guess) collects swords and various weapons.

Ball Jointed Dolls-had over thirty at one point, but am down to about 15.

OHHHHH my goodness! Back in 2007, I bought an em pea lap dragon from someone. She accidently sent my dragon to her friend and a package that was meant to go to her friend came to me. I was super confused, when I opened the box. Inside was …………*the*………most gorgeous doll Ive ever seen! (maybe this situation sounds familiar to someone here and they can chime in with some details ?)

Im *not* into dolls, but she was breath taking. I took some photos of her. (before I realized what had happened) I’ll dig them up when I get home-I even gave her a name. She had long blonde hair, and she could move at the wrist, elbow, shoulder, bend at the waist AND the hips. I dont know what company made her. I THINK the person who sent her said she was about $2,000 O.O She wasn’t Blythe or Pullip (or at least didn’t look like it and was too big)

I FINALLY found pictures of the one that lived with me for a few days. I named her Isobel. If this doll is familiar to anyone, please let me know. I *really* want one *exactly* like her-ONE day. She is the most beautiful doll Ive ever laid eyes on.

I am also an hystorical romance nut. at one time I had over 1000 books, i finaly parted with most of them on ebay. now I have a Kindle, so I have more room for my dragons.

I dont know if it really counts as a collection…I only have about five or six…but I love those old deep purple colored apothecary bottles. If I see one at a goodwill or yardsale I never pass them up. <3

I also have a collection of interesting 'nature bits'….seashells, skulls, rocks and minerals, rough gemstones, sea urchins and even a lovely display of pinned butterflies.

No, actually the name is unfamiliar.

Edit that, I have the Sky-Doll series! I’ve added it recently to the collection, so the name isn’t imprinted yet… Not like Arleston or Crisse (one of my favorites).

                        My collections:

                        Enchantica/Dragonsite dragons
                        Foo Dogs
                        Netsuke

Come to think of it, I do have a rather large collection of stuffed animals and beanie babies, but I don’t really collect them too much anymore.

                          Ah, I was wondering if you’d read Les Lumières de l’Amalou by her…it’s always interested me because I like her style, but is rather expensive. o.o; $96 for L’intégrale, which is a compilation of all five volumes. Separately, the cheapest I’ve seen them is $30 each. >.>;
