July 11, 2012 at 11:32 pm #883174I have been working on a coa sketchbook, on and off, for a couple years.
We don’t have scans of most of them, but we do have a photo copy of every one.
This changes the appearance of the pencil and makes it into a black line drawing, so they look different.
It is just a matter of editing them! There are hundreds and hundreds.Just a thought here: I know that some COAs get lost along the way when they change hands a few times, so could it be possible for someone to obtain a copy of the copy? It could even copied onto watermarked paper or something along those lines in case there is concern about forgery. Of course the current owner would have to provide proof ownership.
It would be better than nothing…
Except FINDING any particular coa copy would be a real job!
July 11, 2012 at 11:46 pm #883175I think i have a bunch of older ones. What type/quality of scan do you need? I’d be more than happy to send mine in for the book.

Sun Dragon Koi #3July 12, 2012 at 2:16 am #883184The idea for a gallery for the sketches is great! Something to hold us over with til a sketchbook is published (which I will continue to squeak for as long as I’m a member here). Please! Please!

Thank you for the offer, but I already have scanned and filed almost all of the photocopies already, so I am close to being done with compiling images. Now to edit (there’s too many to put every one of them in a book) and try to put them on pages somehow. This is proving to be difficult because these sketches were not made to go together.
July 14, 2012 at 1:39 pm #883284July 14, 2012 at 6:51 pm #883286I’ll start posting some of the COA sketches on our Windstone Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/WindstoneEditions
These are scans of photocopies. This makes them look like black and white line drawings. I have removed the text from all of these images, so I have no idea which piece they went with, or who’s!
It will be fun to see if anyone recognizes these.July 14, 2012 at 9:20 pm #883296I’ll start posting some of the COA sketches on our Windstone Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/WindstoneEditions
