Hi guys,
I was wondering if there is a place that has photos of the little sketches that come on COAs? I’ve seen a couple around, but is there no real database for them?
July 10, 2012 at 11:07 am #883091There were some threads for that, back in the day, though who knows how many of the photo links are still valid.

There had been plans to make a book of some of them, but I don’t know what happened with that…

And to any developers listening, I would absolutely buy a COA Sketch book if one was made 😉

Me too!!
I absolutely love these sketches and was often tempted to pay more for something just to get the sketch >_<July 10, 2012 at 4:43 pm #883099And to any developers listening, I would absolutely buy a COA Sketch book if one was made 😉

Seeing what Melody sketched on there was just as fun as unboxing that awesome new Windstone for the first time 🙂 Too bad Windstone can’t/hasn’t scan(ned) the COAs before they were mailed out.
July 11, 2012 at 12:44 am #883120I have two sketches!
My test paint mother griffin (chocolate brown copper spot):
My husband got me a mama bear for my birthday, so Melody gave me a birthday cake sketch! 😀
July 11, 2012 at 3:14 am #883132I wonder…could we perhaps have a gallery here on the site for these? I think it would be a neat thing to have them all collected in one spot, no worries about expired picture links, and if needed, the uploaded images could be watermarked to prevent someone printing them out for nefarious usage.
Meanwhile, I have three of them in my desk drawer that I’ll try to get pics of tomorrow to post here in the thread. 🙂

Sounds awesome 🙂 I’d love having them all somewhere on the windstone site itself.
July 11, 2012 at 6:25 am #883142I have been working on a coa sketchbook, on and off, for a couple years.
We don’t have scans of most of them, but we do have a photo copy of every one.
This changes the appearance of the pencil and makes it into a black line drawing, so they look different.
It is just a matter of editing them! There are hundreds and hundreds.July 11, 2012 at 6:52 am #883143I have been working on a coa sketchbook, on and off, for a couple years.

There are hundreds and hundreds.Just a thought here: I know that some COAs get lost along the way when they change hands a few times, so could it be possible for someone to obtain a copy of the copy? It could even copied onto watermarked paper or something along those lines in case there is concern about forgery. Of course the current owner would have to provide proof ownership.
It would be better than nothing…
