being very absent minded doesn’t fit well with anything, most likely explaination is that I must have locked my knee while I was turning and pop, something clicked really loudly and I fell to the floor, but lying and whining isn’t the Icelandic way, I heaved myself up on a chair and finished my workload, jumped on one leg to the changing room and took my clothes in a bag, stumbled down the stairs (at work) and to my car, drove for 50 mins, talked to an insurance broker, and went to a childrens birthday party, then I decided that I couldn’t take it anymore and went, doc was baffled

Did the doctor think the knee was unstable, BRoS? Only I’m still walking around on a partial cruciate ligament tear that I got about twelve years ago, and it baffled the doctor for a while too. It wasn’t until the swelling went down that he realized that the knee was a little unstable, and diagnosed a partial ligament tear. He said that if it had been unstable with the swelling, that would have been a complete tear, so I was lucky. A complete tear needs surgery; a partial tear just sits there like a little ticking time bomb. All I know is that at the time, having to bike four or eight miles each day with a knee the size of a melon, I didn’t feel so lucky! :nea: It felt so icky when I put my weight on it! :puke:

I hope you’re feeling better soon!
