*SIGH!!!* Me boyohs have been invited to a Halloween costume part which is this coming Thurs. the 23rd. Ethan most desperately wants to be a clone trooper. Does anyone happen to have pattern, a DYI, site or any suggestions for a good looking helmet?!?! Please keep in mind that I leave for Cape Cod, Massachusetts on Wed. the 22nd. I needs to fairly down and dirty but still look good as E is a very picky, detail oriented sort of person. The last helmet I made was in 1977. Now I haven’t any idea where to start or how to progress and have it done before I leave for Cape Cod… πŸ™„ πŸ™„ πŸ™„ :shout: :shout: :shout: ANY and ALL HELP would be greatly appreciated!!

        Thankies in advance!

Oh rats, twindragonsmum; I don’t know of anything that would be quick, but there are dozens of Star Wars cosplayers at Comic-Con every year, so there just has to be a supplier of ready-made clone trooper helmets and armor out there. They look really nice, and I’ve seen costumes for everything from clone warriors clear up to Imperial Guards. (When there are a bunch of stormtroopers running around in a pack, complete with field rank insigne and battle damage on the armor, the effect is so convincing you half think there’s an invasion going on!) Maybe a Web search could put you onto a Star Wars fan forum? I’m sure they have to exist. Good luck!

Thankies Barrdwing – I’ll keep looking (I completely refuse to by the helmet with the voice changer that are in toy stores at the moment…)
