I have enough house, I just need the glass.
And how did you manage to sleep with the peacock mother without worrying it would fall to the floor?
March 3, 2007 at 8:07 pm #545802Thanks for asking that. 😉
March 3, 2007 at 8:55 pm #545803full size bed has plenty of room for 2, and i picked the mother because she is low centered i always have stuffed animals or something on my bed with me when b/f is gone meaning 99% of the year. I had a lifesized hansa moma snow leopard i ordered over a month ago .. but she never got here and we gave up and cancelled the order.(thast hwo i coudl afford my emerald o/w from BT) if i ever get her there won’t be room on the bed for other than her and me lol

Aw, I c. So hopefully if she did fall then there would be lots of soft fluffy things around. I would defiantely not put 2 on the bed tho.
March 3, 2007 at 9:30 pm #545806oh no, but no harm has come from any being on the bed over the years … it’s the ones on the shelfs that always end up falling from up high (cats are evil) that get broken. and no it’s probably not the smartest thing to do. but i’m not always the smartest of people, else i’s have a full set of emerald dragons already instead of paying playing catch up lol.
March 3, 2007 at 9:33 pm #545807Lol.. that is kinda funny the cats harm them more. 😀
March 3, 2007 at 10:15 pm #545808cats LOVE to be high and look down on everything. Usually they are good but every once in awhile they will knock something over
March 4, 2007 at 9:14 am #545809of my dragons other than a few small chips from banging my accidental while moving .. pretty much all damage has been cat related, either knocked a dargon or 2 off a shelf .. or knocked something from above down
my peacock fldgie, young dragon, emerald scratcher all were knocked off a shelf and my poor male pegasus TWICE i eventually gave up on him sadly after i broke him the third time. my pe/ male had a horse knocked onto him from a shelf above took out his crest like a week after i got him >:|. it’s all due to one cat . but he’s my special kitty other than knocking stuff down which thankfully he hasn’t done much of latley he’s generally very smart. he’s the only one who wants to sleep with me, not just on the bed plus he greets me when i come home from work. probably the most affectionate being in my life atm, so i just forgive him like a mother would a child :). the other kitties just scratch up my horses like crazy and piss off my dad lol. none of them are as special as my honor kitty so i just forgave him and moved on . i have learned that nothing under 4 feet is safe and anything over 6 feet can be a temptation one of the reason i’m liking the mother dragons besides her style and face, her and the o/w i know are not about to be knocked off by a cat brushing by lolMarch 4, 2007 at 9:17 am #545810oh btw there is a problem with glass cases too … my kitties like to scratch on glass they are fascinated by it not so much honor but my other male gryphon anything shiny and clear plastic or glass (except mirrors go figure :S)and! he’s teaching the girls it.. my dad just yells at them all the time so they ignore him, but i’m not around enough to discipline them properly anymore lol
March 4, 2007 at 10:54 am #545811My cats have only damaged one windstone. (knock on wood) It was a male pegasus. I had taken it out of storage to get some pictures of it to sell. I left it in the box. My cats are fasinated by boxes. I came home from work and one of my cats was laying in the box. I took out the pegasus after and noticed that it now had two scratches across the neck. So much for a mint pegasus. It was my fault, I shouldn’t have left it in the box and I should have trimmed their claws before they got that sharp. I couldn’t blame the cats for that.
