I think if theaters knew people do go to old films they’d show them . The theater was packed . So many people were there . It was a suprise .
I love watching them on dvd . But I enjoying seeing them in a theater too .

A crime has been committed. Classic movies and yet no mention of the Marx Bros. movies! Oh there are loads of others that I love too the Abbott and Costello movies. Anything with Paul Newman. Tons of good noirs. There’s also a movie that I everyone should see if you love cartoonish comedy: The Great Race. A fantastic movie.

I would help but I am just to tired to get out of bed today~

The Great Race is one of my faverites . I have always love the villians in that one . Jack Lemmon and Peter Falk . The scene in the peice of ice and the Prof. mustash makes me laugh every time . The spoofs in it are such fun .
I got it the day it came out on dvd .

This isn’t a classic movie but program…I still fall out laughing everytime I watch the “Carol Burnett Show.”Her w/Tim Conway will never be replaced.

This is also not a movie but two of my nieces, ages 7 and 9, are currently hooked on Little House on the Prarie and are watching it on DVD. They also like The Waltons. My sister is so happy they like those shows. She pretty much despises the shows on the Disney channel. She doesn’t like how the children act and the disrespect they show to their parents. I have to agree with her. I saw an episode of Wizards of Waverly Place (or whatever the tittle is) and I was appalled. The children were obnoxious, the parents made jokes about being bad parents and I am so sick of having a character be too stupid to be believed. Fortunately my nieces don’t watch a lot of TV so it should take them awhile to go through all the seasons of Little House.

Yes that is a classic on tv . That was funny , not like today . Carol Burnett is one of the greats . That Gone With The Wind spoof is still so very very funny . Tim Conway could make even them laugh .

Oh yes Jack Lemon is just wonderful in both his roles. I love the line in the iceberg scene “When the water reaches my lower lip I’m going to say something to somebody!!!”

I was talking to a friend about Looney Tunes and how so many cartoons are about education now adays . Looney Tunes and Bugs Bunny were fun as a kid and better as an adult . Because they were made for adults .
You learned nothing from them . Well you learned to laugh at least . Got my love of Jazz from them too .
