As with many others, I really don’t like the color around the mouth. The rest of it is very nice.
August 19, 2007 at 1:10 am #609380I’m in agreement about the dark color around the mouth: yuck, don’t do that. Otherwise, this is a really pretty color scheme! 🙂 It’s got more depth to it than the white and gold combo, and I love the areas where the scales are patterned. And although it looks fantastic on the SK, I think it might do well on some of the other molds as well, provided they have nice large scales on the neck and sides. The Spectrals and the Fledgeling, definitely. Probably the Lap as well. Maybe the OW too.
August 19, 2007 at 1:27 am #609381😯 I love this color! It is soooo pretty, and would love to see more dragons produced in it…. like a Spectral (of course), and an OW. The SK looks great… but again I’m with most of the others thinking that the mouth is too dark.
White is my favorite color for dragons, but I think cinammon could be my new favorite. Though when I think of cinnamon… I think of a redish brown color. This appears to look more champagne to me… I know somebody else said that before.
August 19, 2007 at 2:18 am #609382As already mentioned numerous times, I also dislike the darkening of the scales around the mouth. However, that aside, I do like this color better than the retired white and the current production gold.
August 19, 2007 at 2:58 am #609383that colouration is gorgeous, id love to see it released
August 19, 2007 at 4:51 am #609384Wow, she is very pretty. I wouldn’t mind seeing that color produced, although I still like the white SK better.
August 19, 2007 at 7:05 am #609385I WISH this was mine! 😆 The pic is from GB’s thread in the ASK GB forum. She took the pic when she was at the factory, and I just borrowed it to see if ya’ll liked the color. Now that I think of it, I should have asked first. Sorry GB. 😳
I agree about the lipstick, but something like that is so easily changed that it did not bug me. I would LOVE to see a lap like this. Heck, I would love to see anything like this.
August 19, 2007 at 2:14 pm #609386I’m not sure how well it would work on the family, but I loved it on the Riser. The SK tends to have a lipsticky mouth anyway, so that could be fixed. I’m for cinnamon as a production color.
August 20, 2007 at 11:04 am #609387Hmmmm, 61% as a yes, and only 14% as a straight up no. Thats not too bad.
August 20, 2007 at 11:49 am #609388Um….I’d rather see the red-gold or autumn leaf color myself….Most likely the red gold! 😀

I have already been working on that and “no go” so far.
I wonder what Windstones does wiht their e-bay rejects?? John???
August 20, 2007 at 4:35 pm #609390I wouldn’t say I love this color. It’s ok. I agree with the lipstick thing. I think it would be a nice replacement for the gold (I don’t really like the gold). I think after a couple of generations this color scheme will be quite nice.
I also have a open door policy to taking in unwanted and un-Ebayable SKs – just so you know. 😉 😆

I would have to agree. I do like this color tho, but the darker lip scales also bother me.
August 20, 2007 at 8:19 pm #609392Oh, don’t worry about is, Ski. Photobucket is a free for all.
August 20, 2007 at 9:12 pm #609393I’ve already told John I’d take all the rejected Windstones. i’ll drive down and pick them up so no shipping neccessary
