Maybe it’s my monitor too, but I think he needs a tad more color. 😕
January 22, 2008 at 3:37 am #658370That’s what I thought of the Silvers until someone posted the one they got. Unfortunately the black background they use tends to wash colours out. My bf who is a graphic designer and profession photographer (I’m useless with stuff like this) says that neutral gray backgrounds are best for showing off sculpts like this.
January 22, 2008 at 4:17 am #658371I think he looks gorgeous. There are lots of copper and gold highlights on his shoulders and knees. Beautiful! I so wish I had some money now.
January 22, 2008 at 11:10 am #658372He is pretty nice… im feelin it…
January 22, 2008 at 11:47 am #658373I’m still not sure what I think of his color, but I love those eyes.
January 22, 2008 at 11:53 am #658374I think that color’s gorgeous. I think I really want him (and an OW!… heck, just make it production for me!). I think I don’t know how I could stealthily slip him and a rainbow Riser into my collection now that I only have curlies and Poads here with me…. 😕 😆
January 22, 2008 at 3:09 pm #658375I think this color would also do well as a production color. Add me to the :squeak: list.

I have no idea where that came from, honey. *looks innocent* 😆

Been there, done that. “It’s been there for ages, haven’t you noticed??” 😈
January 22, 2008 at 8:56 pm #658378He’s nice. 😀 Firsts of any Artist’s Edition piece seem to go for more money than I can afford, but maybe I’ll keep an eye out for a later one. If they painted an Old Warrior like this, though, I don’t think I’d be able to stand off and wait!
More dichroic eyes? Does this mean that the production problem with the smaller-sized eyes has been overcome? I’m glad to see them coming up on more and more pieces. I really like them! 😀
January 23, 2008 at 3:07 am #658379Oooo! He looks soo pretty! Reminds me of a penny. 🙂

January 23, 2008 at 7:11 pm #658381I agree different photo’s will give you something different and in person will be totally different too
January 24, 2008 at 6:37 am #658382I especially like the eyes. 😛
