i found this when going through her stash of windstones(purplecat’s) and was blown away by the color. it is SOOO deep! like cherry red you see on old cars with highlights of pink:

My Mother Dragon is like that, but all the rest of mine are very red. That’s an adorable fledgie! Those colors make him look so innocent.

lol…he’s the only ruby I have! You should have seen me when I got my ruby young…I nearly cried…because I thought all the ruby dragons were really dark. That fledge was one of my very first windstones! 😀 I prefer the darker shading. 🙂

He’s so vibrant, I think he’s adoarble. Mine is very dark red. I should post some pics for you when I get a chance.

That’s a very pretty shading. Wolfen’s is like that.

The dark red color comes from the older paint. It’s unstable so be careful with him. Don’t get him wet with water and do not display him in direct sunlight or other bright lighted areas.
My Ruby OW is that same intense dark color and i saw a much brighter one that looked nothing like mine so I asked Melody about the color differences.
