From Melody’s Facebook page – she has redesigned the Mini Keeper! The most recent colors in the store are the new style, with more details on the wings.
Melody says: “I didn’t change that much, just the back view. I added raised edges to the wing scales and ribs, and deepened the details on the wing webs that didn’t take antique very well. I also put ridges on the neck scales ( they are barely visible in this photo.)
Difference in details between the oldstyle mini keeper (right) and the newer style. Now with more bling.”
Oh I really love the one on the right What is it’s coloring may I ask? It looks AL.Will it be a color for the store? I want one! Will the old ones still be available?

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.Melody doesn’t say, but I doubt that any more will go into the store. Examples of the old style should show up in the Classifieds from time to time.
Judging by photos in the store, old style are Blue Morpho, Grab Bag, Shell Pink, Tanzanite, Violet Flame and White. Shell Pink is in stock, the others are sold out.
P.S. The dragon on the right is probably that early example that Melody painted. We’ve seen him before … https://windstoneeditions.com/dragon-line/

Violet Flame & Blue Morpho Mini Keeper re-stocked with New Version of Sculpture
You may have noticed that Melody has dressed up her Mini Keeper Dragon with more sculpted details! Mini Keepers made in 2017 were cast with this new mold. This is the first time we’ve restocked a color that we did with the old mold first.
Melody didn’t change too much, mostly the back view and the neck. She added raised edges to the neck scales, wing scales and ribs, and deepened the details on the wing webs that didn’t take antique very well. The overall effect is that the little dragon has more detailed painted “bling.”
We have re-stocked the Mini-Keepers in Violet Flame and in Blue Morpho with the new version (our first batches of each were the old version). The Mini Keepers that have neck “frills” in the pictures are those that are the new style. At this time we are not planning to make more of the old style.
Yeah, I got that notice too. I have the violet flame in the old style, and though I think I prefer the new style, I don’t think I will get a second violet flame.
I did get the blue morpho as I love the color and didn’t have it previously.

I’ve been planning on getting a Violet Flame Mini-Keeper and was on the verge of getting one last year when I used my extra funds for a Grab Bag that came out. I’m actually glad I didn’t get the older style in Violet Flame – I LOVE the details on this new version Tons Better! WooHoo! Maybe I’ll get one after the Kickstarter launches and I know how much I’ll need for that. Can’t Wait!
