Hi melody,
I was just wondering as i do….Have you ever thought about making certificates that can be displayed with the limited edition Dragons?
When i brought one of the 10 signed emerald peacock pieces i just loved the drawing you did on the certificate but becasue it was on A4 it just got put back in the box for safe keeping 😕
It would be nice to have little card or paper ones that are A5 or smaller that could stand up with the dragon.
Just a thought 😀May 31, 2007 at 3:08 pm #582864Whats A4? I display all my certificates in a frame. I think they look real nice. Is that just nicer paper?
May 31, 2007 at 3:53 pm #582865Actually A4 is a size in paper. I believe that it is your standard 8.5 x 11 isn’t it? It has been a while since I used preprogrammed paper size settings.

Ah! Ok. I like it. Its easy to find a frame for it. What size is A5? Do they make frames for that?
May 31, 2007 at 5:02 pm #582867Hee hee sorry i just thought they were standard names all over the world 😕
A4 is normal paper size, about 29.5cm long and 21cm wide and then A5 is half the size of that.
A3 is twice the size of A4 and then A2 twice the size of A3, A1 twice the size of A2.
I hope that makes sence.
Basically A1 is huge and A6 is tiddy 😀
May 31, 2007 at 5:10 pm #582868Normally when you but a frame it has A 4 A5 or whatever written on it and then the dimentions 😀 They are standard sizes and you can buy fames for all of them 8) I don’t have room for framed certificates thought other wise i would frame them 😀
May 31, 2007 at 5:56 pm #582869Huh, you learn something new everyday…I’d never heard of those size classifications before!

Yeah, I don’t like the letters. They are hard to deal with… I mean, what do you do if you aren’t into framing them? File them somewhere? A smaller certificate would be better, but still, what do you do with it? Prop it up with the piece? You’d still end up putting it away somewhere.
I have been thinking about this.May 31, 2007 at 7:43 pm #582871AnonymousMelody… be very careful with how you word this.
Because..
One of these days, *you* are going to be retired.
And well.. do you want to be propped up on display, or be “put away” somewhere for safekeeping?
…. lol
and no she won’t come back in a limited edition new color either
May 31, 2007 at 7:44 pm #582872I love the cards you did for the Poads… small, easy to prop next to the piece, and pretty as well as amusing.
And you can even get them foil stamped if you want a superfancy one for a really special edition. 😀
May 31, 2007 at 9:32 pm #582873Melody for me the certificate sticks with the piece, i always keep them together. My windstone certificate was the first one i didn’t know what to do with.
I prop them up with the Dragons, if you look at my collection in this link you can see all the certicicates! 😀http://www.thesorcererslibrary.com/TSL/Images/collectors/coll_amy.htm
May 31, 2007 at 9:54 pm #582874The A-whatever thing is a European and especially British way of doing it.
We crazy Americans just describe paper sizes by inches/centimeters.
