Ok, I’m reminding you. 😆
June 23, 2008 at 4:22 pm #716791Fresh cut grass is a wonderful smell. I just love that smell, and the smell of my plants right after being watered. But I have to put my face right down in my plant to actually smell it good. I water my plant at work every Friday, and smell it. I cause my co-workers to wonder about me.

I love the smell of fresh cut grass, and the smell of a field RIGHT after a rainstorm… To die for. Of course now I live in Edmonton where grass is a rare-ish commodity (at least compared to where I used to live) so I get to smell wet concrete. 😆 Not quite as nice, but I still like it for some reason.
And the smell of a thunderstorm – but that only works if it’s a very light or non-existent rain. But it’s quite the unique and awesome smell of ozone 😀
June 23, 2008 at 6:46 pm #716794My favorite candle scent is Pumpkin Spice or Pumpkin Pie (even though I hate the taste of anything with Pumpkin in it). I also like Cinnamon, Sugar Cookie and harvest scented candles.
June 23, 2008 at 7:03 pm #716795Lavender, but it has to be the essential oil based lavender. Anything else is “off” to me. And then pumpkin pie spices.
Yankee Candles did a Lavender for a long time, then retired it, and then brought it back recently. I think I bought like a half dozen to stock up against the next discontining trend.I love the smell of the hay barn when the fresh hay comes in; I can walk into the barn in the dead of winter and get a whiff of nice hay, and go instantly back to the summertime. 😀
Never smelled a candle with that smell, though.June 23, 2008 at 7:17 pm #716796frozendragon wrote:my fav is woodberry..
one a lady here in town makes is so amazing…
I have fresh cut grass on my list to buy… when I have enough money to get it…
vanilla makes my head hurt… it’s one of the scents of a list of many that can trigger migraines… so I stay away from vanilla…
cinnamon is good.. we get a kind called ‘red hots’ very yummy smell..
I bet I could get plain mint too.. just gotta save up some money… 🙂
Isn’t mint supposed to be good for headaches too?? You should definitely try that Frozen.
June 23, 2008 at 7:26 pm #716797some mints make my allergies go nuts though…
LOL
June 23, 2008 at 7:29 pm #716798Yikes. 😯 Okay, that’s not good.
June 23, 2008 at 7:36 pm #716799LOL… yeah sometimes I make candles and use a roll of papertowels cause I’m sneezing and snotty..LOL
June 24, 2008 at 4:29 am #716800Lavender is my favorite.

mine are: pomegranate, lemon, cinnamon, melon
just a silly question, but I really am curious to know. 😀 😀I prefer the musky earthy spicy ones. we don’t use scented candles around here because John is very sensitive to chemicals and scents, but I stick one in the fireplace sometimes.
My favorite “life scents” are rain on cement, horses, and breast fed baby’s heads. The bottle fed ones don’t smell as nice.June 24, 2008 at 5:15 am #716802Melody wrote:purplecat wrote:I’ve always found it interesting how different scents appeal to different people. MidSummer’s Night is one of my favorites. Mmmm…
June 24, 2008 at 7:13 pm #716804My Windstone candlelamps always have the Yankee Candle “Raspberry Creme” ones. They smell like CANDY. I want to eat them.
My room is downstairs with good ventilation so I’m pretty sure it’s okay to burn my candles sometimes despite having a lovebird…>.> Not that I really burn candles anymore.
