I keep Yankee Candles in stock and my favorite scents are the watery ones. I love those.
Second are flowers: jasmine, hydrangea, lily, rose, and on and on. Citrus is lovely too. I don’t care for sweet scents and don’t like food ones.June 23, 2008 at 11:25 am #716776Perfume smells generally make me nauseous/headachy, so the candles I like are the pine/spruce scented ones. Vanilla and cinnomon are nice too. 🙂
June 23, 2008 at 11:43 am #716777Yeah, I really like the cinnamon scented ones too. The roses scent by Yankee Candle is another one of my favorites.
I get those car jar fresheners to hang in the closets.June 23, 2008 at 12:57 pm #716778I don’t do scented candles anymore because of my parrots. Natural beeswax with a cotton wick or nothing. :/

My art: featherdust.comJune 23, 2008 at 1:04 pm #716779Several years ago…before cake decorating…I worked at a candle factory here in town. I still love going to their “seconds store” and getting big jar candles for $2 apiece…just because the color is slightly off. 😀 It was really neat to see the huge machines and assembly lines for the different types of candles. 🙂 But…the smell of a few thousand scented candles at once gave me constant headaches…it’s a hard thing to take everyday..for me anyway. The worst was when they were pouring the gardenia candles…those made my eyes water as soon as I walked in the door.
June 23, 2008 at 1:55 pm #716780I love mint (not mixed with anything else) scented candles; Those are hard to find though. I also like cinnamon scented ones as well.
June 23, 2008 at 1:59 pm #716781mmm….yes…just pure mint candles are awesome…they smelled really neat on the production line too. I can keep an eye out for them here if you like, I know they pour them during the wintertime. 🙂
June 23, 2008 at 2:02 pm #716782My all time favorites are Yankee Fresh Cut Grass (discontinued *sigh*) and MidSummer’s Night. I prefer the spicy/musky ones. No food scents for me, either.
June 23, 2008 at 2:22 pm #716783fresh cut grass…..that’s a real life scent I LOOOOOVE! Never smelled the candle though..I’m gonna have to go to a yankee candle store now.. 😆

Fresh Cut Grass is long retired, unfortunately. 😥 Hopefully they will bring it back someday…or I will find a substitute candle maker.
June 23, 2008 at 3:18 pm #716785sigh…that’s a shame, especially if it was close to the real scent. 😕 maybe they will bring it back…til then I’ll keep sniffing lawns! 😆
June 23, 2008 at 3:37 pm #716786my fav is woodberry..
one a lady here in town makes is so amazing…
I have fresh cut grass on my list to buy… when I have enough money to get it…
vanilla makes my head hurt… it’s one of the scents of a list of many that can trigger migraines… so I stay away from vanilla…
cinnamon is good.. we get a kind called ‘red hots’ very yummy smell..
I bet I could get plain mint too.. just gotta save up some money… 🙂
June 23, 2008 at 3:40 pm #716787yeah….some cinnamons have a bitter tang to their scent…I like the sweeter, red hot smell too. 😀
June 23, 2008 at 3:49 pm #716788Yeah, I posted about you (frozen) making some fresh cut grass someday and then deleted it. I didn’t want you to think I was pestering you! 😆
