Today we learned that Canada Post may strike on May 23, 2025. In light of this, we prefer not to begin any package’s journey to Canada until we know for sure that it will get there in a timely fashion and not be stuck in a warehouse somewhere until the strike is over. We are happy to hold any orders that our collectors in Canada make until we can ship them. The last time this happened, the US Postal Service stopped quoting postage to Canada and our shopping cart would not process an order bound for Canada. If that happens again, please contact us and we will hold the item for you until postage can be calculated again. The best way to do this is to email us at service@windstoneeditions.com with the item desired and your name and address – I will respond to your message to confirm that we have the piece and can hold it. -Susie Hartney, Windstone Customer Service

For anyone who doesn’t follow Facebook, there was some interesting discussion after Susie posted this information there.

Question from a Windstone collector who lives in Canada – “Thank you for the update, Susie! In the event of a Grab Bag dropping – obviously I don’t know when that will be – will there be any way for Canadian collectors to have a chance to get one? If the store’s shopping cart won’t process an order to Canada, then none of us north of the border will have any chance of getting one. I have a sister in Michigan and a few other collectors in the lower 48 who would receive a package for me, but Grab Bag policies state that buyers can’t have their GBs shipped to an alternate address. 😢”

Susie’s reply – “We will take the postal situation into consideration should we be ready to have a grab bag while Canada Post is on strike. I do not know how we might handle it at this point.”
