Some forums have a rule about staying on topic, but I think an honor system would work much better here. 🙂 You guys are awesome. And if anyone ever feels rude about outrightly asking people to stay on topic, you can always just say something like, “Well, anyway, back to what we were saying…”

So this forum- it’s pretty much the norm for me!
I think Nirvana covered it pretty well. But it seems the dynamic of this group is prone to rambling, at least for now. Who knows what will happen in the future as the bbs matures? Forums rarely stay the same forever ^_^

They are… very moderated. Very. Like… you can’t say anything off topic at all, ever. Or they delete it. It must take the mods a HUGE amount of time, and it’s really annoying to me. You’re always wondering if what you just said will be on topic enough, or will you come back and find your comment is gone.
I prefer things the way they are here.

Yeah I’ve been on a board or two like that, one was a music forum for a band and they had rules like “no fangirl posts or posts about bandmember body parts[me: yes bodyparts!! @_@] or how much you love so and so” and they had no general forum, everything had to be on topic. And lord help you if you asked a question that had ever been asked before LOL
I prefer it here also. I was having an “I love you guys” moment again today. 😀 Even when the mods do step in… which is very rare, they are nice about it and even explain. I love it here… thats probably why I am always here..
