I bet the tiles are really nice! What kind of backs do they have? Smooth and flat or ridged, so you could actually lay them in a tile wall? I have a couple of Waterhouse tiles that have the ridged back. When my kitchen gets redone, we’re going to mix art tiles in with the regular tiles. It would be cool to include a couple of Windstones!
I receieved my very first cafepress order today…I got the Astral Griffin Family and Poad tiles 😀
But my Astral Griffin Family tile has a scratch on it on the top right side… 🙁 I really hope that I can get it replaced….I really like the tiles…I wanna start collecting them… 🙂

If so I wanna find out if your tile has lines all over it…that look like a whole bunch of scratches ❓Marzena
I have one tile, in a keepsake box, and one as a tile ‘coaster’ (that’s what I use it for anyhow). Both came perfectly smooth and finished- not scratches or blemishes. They look professional.
The single tile I got has four felt pieces on the back so you can use it as a coaster and it won’t scratch your table.

I made a NEW SECTION that has all the tiles in it. You can STILL get the tiles in the normal areas (dragon gifts, griffin gifts, etc) but for those that are seeking tiles in particular, they are all in one spot now:

I hate to ask but, are you planning on adding any more designs that have cute little comments, like the “mighty dragon” or “princess” on the hatching empress, or brown fledge. I was just thinking of Melody’s infamous griffin chick pic in the gallery… the, “quick everyone look innocent!” one =)
I could think of a number of one liners to put on shirts, and I know the rest of the forum crew could as well….
I’d love an OW or lap dragon with the caption, “Laziness is an artform,” or a scratching dragon with “…And you thought dragons couldn’t get fleas.”
Curlies could have a million captions, like “Just when you thought dragons couldn’t get any cuter…” or “Cat nap.”
Anyone else have any ideas?

Yeah thats the way it came…I emailed tham today..so I am just awaiting their response.. 🙂 I`m sure it will all work out.

WOW..I have to update all of you that I have already recieved a reply from cafepress and I am 100% satisfied…they will be replacing the scratched tile and I should be recieveing it soon.
I don`t think I have ever had such a quick and simple response,

Does it have grooves on the back, like a regular tile would have to hold grout? Or is it smooth?
