You need a passport to get into Canada? I thought Canadians need one to get into the US, but didn’t know about the other way around.

I had trouble getting back from Mexico but not that much just had to answer a few questions.

Do we don’t. Right now you can still get across with a birth certificate and photo ID (driving only). I think the deadline for it is coming soon though (June 1st, 2009). Something else they are working on is an enhanced drivers license, so we might not need the passport.

NYS is issuing enhanced drivers licenses for $80 now ($50 for renewal of a regular license). I already have a passport, so I’m not going to bother on the enhanced.

🙂 Well guys I want to thank you all for changing my spirit and making me stay….but 2huberts and Kyrin really convinced me to. As most of you know I don’t have family except my mom and sometime I see my dad. Friend, close friend are few and far appart. Since I don’t go anywhere except work and then I’m stuck home after 3PM (to take care of my son) I don’t get to meet and nurture any friendship. So yes I agree you guys are like family.
Thank you all for the support in this difficult time.
