Well, speaking of staying off topic & siggy changes: Purpledoggy, why’d you change your avatar? Ah well, I’ll miss the yawning kitty.
July 15, 2007 at 7:46 pm #598166People were getting me confused with purplecat and said if I changed my avatar to a dog it might help with the confusion. The old pic was of my cat yawning on my office floor. He likes to do that alot 😆
July 16, 2007 at 1:24 am #598167Makes sense! And I do like the new avatar. I tend to think of people as their avatars and I think I assign a certain amount of personality based on the avatar too, so it’s almost like you cut & dyed your hair and got a bunch of tatoos. 🙂 I feel like, OMG, is that YOU?

My female rabbit uses her litterbox perfectly! Is yours an unfixed male? Those guys like to mark territory with their little poo balls. They can’t afford spray paint like other unfixed males I know..
Heh – my two males are fantastic about using their litter box, but one of them does have a tendancy to spray… D:< I never knew rabbits sprayed until this one demonstrated the talent.

I didnt know rabbits sprayed 😯 I knew cats did, though I had never seen it happen, but rabbits? They seem too cute for that.

Rabbits can actually be pretty aggressive and not-cute, especially unaltered males! One of the worst injuries I ever had was from a male rabbit that I had to grab and restrain for a customer. He kicked my arms up so bad with his hind feet I had to go get stitches. I was bleeding so much that I almost passed out. The people fixing my arms up didn’t believe it was a rabbit (deep, deep cuts running up and down the length of my arms) and made me answer all sorts of questions about my mental health. 😆
Luckily they didn’t scar! Well, they did, but the scars have since faded.Volunteer mod- I'm here to help! Email me for the best response: nambroth at gmail.com

I still have marks, but they are just scratches. I think I would have dined on rabbit stew that night if I were you. 😉July 16, 2007 at 5:28 pm #598173skigod377 wrote:Arlla wrote:Melody wrote:skigod377 wrote:My rabbit is not taking well to the litter training.

I had a male (rabbit) who would jump up and spin around in the air so he could spray like a sprinkler. Needless to say, he was an OUTDOOR rabit.

Hahaha! My next door neighbor’s rabbit did that! She used to raise rabbits of different types (lops, rex, etc.). My rabbits we had to separate with two layers of plexiglass because my brother and I both had males (and mine was bigger). The scratches were nasty.
July 16, 2007 at 7:09 pm #598175That is disgusting. *Note to self. Only female rabbits allowed*

I agree with you on that one. I assume the cobra’s been de-fanged, but then it’s just cruel to the snake. There’s no need to cause it that kind of stress. -
