Those deep litter boxes with top entry holes are nice! I just got two of those and they really help keep the litter off of the floor. The plastic bag liners don’t work though, they get torn to shreds.

My cat is odd, even though he is fixed he pee’s standing up. He didn’t start to do that until after I had him fixed. I had to get a litter box with a plastic hood on it so he didn’t pee on the wall. I wanted to get one of those automatic litter boxes so I don’t have to sit there and scoop the litter. It’s just too much for me to take right now and makes me sick to my stomach. Oh and I’ll squeak for production bvp.

Melody, how likely do you think it would be for the BEP and/or BVP colors to be used on regular production pieces? I know the auctions say that they may become a production color, but I’m just wondering if there’s been more thought to it. I really love both of them ( can’t decide which is better), and I’d buy multiple pieces in both.

I’d like to do either one of the “Black Peacock” colors on other dragons, (and maybe production) someday, but I have no immediate plans to do so..That is where the squeaking comes in…

Hmm… I can deal with that… cuz that sounds like a Yes, just not now. Though I suppose I could start squeaking around here…
I’ll still be buying Windstones when that day arrives, even if a decade from now. I sure hope it doesn’t take me that long to get a bigger house to hold it though! My future kids will have an interesting inheritance 😀

If you get one of those automatic ones, I sure hope it works for you! Some people seem to have great experiences, while others are like me (even with the exact same brand). I got a LitterMaid Elite when I first got my cat… I returned it a few days later. It scooped so much clean litter when it did its thing, I would’ve had to completely refill the box daily. And it made such a mess when doing it, it took me longer to clean up around it than it does to just do the box myself. (Plus the recommended litter stank worse than used litter!) Now I just have a cheap box with a lid & flap door, and Arm&Hammer clumping litter.

Hmm.. but back to the main topic! 😳 Pretty, pretty OWs…

I had one of those littermaids and never had a problem with it. I just hated spending so much on the replacement canisters. I ended up reusing them until they got funky then I would throw them away. I would go back to a littermaid but they don’t have a platic hood (only fabric) and my cat would pee right thru it. I was looking at the Purrforma ones and they have a plastic hood but are expensive as all get out.

*jumps back on topic* Sorry guys, I’m just not a fan of any of the black dragons. The black color is too flat. What I think would look neat, would be a dragon that was black with a lot of different other shades mixed in, like really dark browns and coppers, with hints of lighter gold, and then maybe with a light coppery-gold interference paint. In the end the dragon would not be so much black as it would be a wonderful mix of dark metalic earth colors. And then give it red or amber eyes…. *drools*

I’m with ya Cheryl! These black dragons don’t do anything for me at all. Good luck to those that like them and are bidding though! 🙂

We tried the two part box with a lid, but the pee would run down along the edge of the top and get all over anyway. The top hole box fixed that problem. I’m not turning your stomach am I? (Diapers are fun, too.)

AUGH. My dog is litter box trained, and she’s really very good about it. The only problem she has is she will occasionally pee while she is half in and half out of the litter box…naturally with her hind end being the one half out of the box. D:<

I haven’t heard of a dog that is litter trained. That must be interesting. I know someone who lets their dog go potty on those diaper things even tho it is full grown adult.

I’ve never seen a top hole litter box. I went to Petco since they had the automatic litter box I wanted listed on thier website for $165. Of course when I get there they wanted $235 😕 So I’m still trying to find a litter box lol.

She’s a tiny 4 pound chihuahua, so she fits right into a cat litter box. It’s a lot harder to litter train a dog than a cat – cats do it naturally, but you really have to TRAIN a dog to do it – but it’s not much harder than just plain house breaking a dog. It sure is nice not to have to let her out all the time!
