The name on there says “John.” Wonder if its Miss Melodys John? 😀 Maybe they pried out the eyes so they could cast fakes!! Ok, I dunno.

Remember that movie, I think it was Waiting to Exhale, where that character took all her ex’s clothes and cut them up and put them in his car and then set fire to the car? Now there is a woman who needs some anger management classes!!! 😮 😮 :shout:

My first thought upon seeing this poor Hatching Dragon was to wonder if it’s spent most of its life under water in an aquarium.

Or maybe it’s been played with by a puppy.

The damage doesn’t look deliberate or vindictive to me; more like just excessive wear and tear due to the environment (puppies are part of the environment too, you know).

Also, it’s vaguely possible that it never had eyes in the first place. We did once get a baby unicorn with no eyes and it took me, honestly, most of a day to figure out what was wrong with it, because we didn’t have another to compare it to at the time. I even had to pull up a photograph of one with eyes to convince myself that it was even supposed to have eyes. Of course, the Hatching Dragons have quite bulbous eyes compared to the Baby Unicorn, so it’s less likely that a blind one could be packaged and sold. But still?
