So! I am a clumsy dummy and the other day I managed to knock an unpainted PYO off my shelf. It’s really stupid and I’m still kicking myself for letting this happen, as it would have been JUST FINE if I’d only not opened the box till I was actually ready to paint it, or resealed the box when I decided to do a different piece instead first. But what’s done is done, right?

Anyway. I definitely don’t want to just throw it away if that can be avoided. I’m very lucky and the piece wasn’t painted yet, and the break is not only small but clean; it appears the only damage done was to the left horn, and if I can find a good glue to use it should look good is new. I’m wondering what people would recommend using; are there certain glues that don’t work well with gypsum? Would it be better to use something that’s not glue at all? What kinds of preparation might I need to make to it after it’s glued so that I can be sure no crack in the paint shows once I paint the piece?

I’m sure that these questions have probably been answered before, and it probably seems lazy that I won’t go digging, but I have some other stuff I have to work on today so I’m a bit busy. Any helpful advice you kind folks could offer would be much appreciated. Thanks!
