hey i know there are plenty of horsey folk on here so i figured i’d ask a couple of questions. i would love to get a couple of breyer horses just to enjoy and i was wondering where is a good place either ebay or internet to get good prices on them? as an example of my taste, i was liking some of the “horses of the world”, like the andalusian, templado and the little flicka horse. i like action, good detail and rendering realism , so any other pieces i should check out that could knock my socks off? any advice on where has good deals and what IS a good deal? i saw the andalusian for 25 and not sell and the templado is at 40 , plus i saw him in a store for that. flicka was 32 and ends in 2 hours. is this a good price? please let me know your thoughts as i don’t want to miss anything juicy, as i don’t know enough about this field of collectibles. thanks horsey folk! 😀
One of the best places I’ve found is wheelsoff.com and then click under model horse sales pages and check out their gallery ads. I’ve got a few for sale myself that I can email you the pics of if you’re interested.
hee hee ok, looking more into it now i see two of the horses i like are the same flippin’ horse-just one is black and one white! ha ha! well at least i’m consistent, right!? sigh, time to put the bag back on my head! lol, well the two would be cool together facing each other i guess! i’d like that!

I shop there for new pieces I can’t find in stores. Never had a problem.
You know, when I was 12 or so, my gramma bought me a big old Clydsdale Breyer horse I think…It was in this pretty yellow box…I had the baby one with it too…They had green “cloaks”. Wish I knew where they went… 😕
I used to lust after Breyers when I was a kid.
But I seem to have grown out of them, I haven’t seen one I wanted in years.

I have a few packed away at my mom’s house somewhere from when I was a kid. I should find those one of these days and put them up on my geek shelving. I know I had a brown one with a black mane and white socks that was running, and a matching foal that ran next to her. And I think I had a palomino foal just standing, kind of spread legged. And a white one rearing. I think that’s all I had though. Just four. I liked them when I was young. But rellies found out I liked horses, so I started getting a bunch of crappy ones and not the Breyers, so I told people I didn’t want horses anymore. And I got rid of all the crappy ones and just kept the Breyers.
I used to collect Breyers too. I still think they’re pretty, but I ran out of room for them and now they’re crammed upstairs in Mom’s office.

There’s a Fresian I want (on clearance at rural king, I ought to just go get him) and I’d love to have that halloween horse Nosferatu, but those are the only two I’ve wanted in ages.
