      The final price was $1962.78.

Ouch! Worth it, but oh that puts a serious dent in your pocket.

Glad you won him and are happy.

I might be willing to go that high for a ALSK, but not much else.

lamortefille, I just noticed your avatar photo. I like it a lot! What’s it called or who is it by?

Thanks! It’s a black & white photo of a cemetery monument. I found it on the web a while ago. I don’t know where it was taken. I know there is one in Cypress Lawn Cemetery in CA, but I’m not sure if this is the same weeping angel.

That angel seems pretty popular. I wonder what famous sculpture is the original.

I did some research, it is the weeping angel or angel of grief. I hope to get a print of it.

Congrats on the dragon maebnus3! Let me know if you ever want to sell it 😆

It seems the original was sculpted by William Wetmore Story for his wife. I don’t about prints, but I know they sell a small sculpture…

No kidding! Our tax money didn’t pay much off for long…. Ohh, the anime I could’ve bought…. But he is my only OOAK direct from Windstone, and I only have a few of the limited pieces, so what the heck. He was too pretty for me to ignore. 😀

Thanks! And yeah, keep dreaming :P:wink: I’ll be divorced and living in my parent’s house again before that’ll happen. 😆 (ack, knock on wood!)

That looks simular to the album cover of Once. A album by Nightwish.

              #565044

              😆 I have that album.

While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!

hehe, that is funny. I don’t think I have that album, but that band is my favorite.

CONGRATS!! He’s my favorite OW by FAR and I wanted him something terrible. **GREEN WITH ENVY** However, after spending a bunch on the brown emperor last month, I’m in the recovery phase and couldn’t bid more than $1500. Nice win!! Please post pics!! 😉
