March 26, 2008 at 6:49 pm #682474Do we know who won him? Did he stay in the ‘family’? He was my favorite!

March 26, 2008 at 6:57 pm #682475I got out bid in the last seconds of the auction. He sold for $1025 to someone who had bought from Windstone in Nov. My max bid was $1000, I wanted him bad but I don’t know who outbid me.

Aww, that’s too bad. It’s one thing when you get outbid by a lot, but to be outbid by only $25 in the last few seconds? I feel for you.

I was high bidder for a heart beat or two….. and have been outbid on things at the last second; once it was only a difference of 13 cents…… Aw well, such is life

March 26, 2008 at 7:06 pm #682478When auctions get up to $1000 the next bid has to be $25 over that. So if setsunawolf had bid $1025 the person would have to bid $1050 to win.
March 26, 2008 at 7:08 pm #682479Melody could just paint me one and I could just pay for it 😆 My roommate won the Male before the Blue spot who looked kinda similar and wow is he beautiful in person. I bet that Blue Spot would have been even nicer. She calls him her tercellie male, becuase he looks like a tercel that she would visit in the zoo when she was a kid. 🙂

I’d have been okay with that. Since I would already be making CC payment for a month or so any way since he hit $1000, by that time what’s an extra $50 😆
….I’ve used that philosophy before on dogs 😕 , it has some problems I’m still trying to work out. That’s how I ended up with 4 foster dogs instead of 1 😆Looking for Blue Fawn Baby Kirin

Sun Dragon Koi #3March 27, 2008 at 6:20 am #682482The blue spot male was really pretty – one of the best-looking test paints, I think.

I like the Naylah male (like in the gallery) and too, there was one…the Silver Wolf test paint…I think he started out life as “Wolf #2” in Melody’s Gallery…I hope not because I wanted that one SO super bad…but I think this is him.
Maybe they are differnt…*hopes* But they are both similar and both super stunning. although the more I look at him, maybe it IS him…
March 27, 2008 at 9:00 am #682484Hm, good questions. The eye colors are different, though.
March 27, 2008 at 12:59 pm #682485Besides the eyes, the one on the top seems to have some extra dark lines highlighting the shorter feathers on the outer part of the wing.
They really are quite similar, though! (and both gorgeous!)
