What about cards for Poads one doesn’t own?
But I guess that wouldn’t be quite fair…The cards are what replaced the CoA on Poads, so I don’t know if that’s fair or possible.
I know. I just figured I’d throw it out there. 🙂
August 31, 2007 at 6:35 pm #612852Hmmmmph….I’d collect just the cards if I could. They’re cute too and I can’t always afford to buy the newest poad…
August 31, 2007 at 7:07 pm #612853aw, you need at least one poad… they’re just the utmost in cute, giving you a happy smile whenever you are near. 🙂
I put my black poad right on my workdesk; that way, even if the day is utter crap, I have one of my poad pair smiling at me, and I imagine it muttering happily to itself like my parrot used to do when he was in an especially good mood. 😀
August 31, 2007 at 11:53 pm #612854I would love to take one to work and have it on my desk. But, I’m afraid if I leave it there it’ll disappear. Funny how that happens. Especially when there’s a security camera on 24/7, and the door is locked. And only executives are supposed to be able to have the key. 🙄
I love my poads. (I would rather have the poad than the card….)
September 3, 2007 at 1:00 am #612855I want to bring one to work too (after my department moves). Secure access to the area, but cleaning staff can get in–I plan to shut it in my drawer every night… 🙂
September 3, 2007 at 1:44 am #612856I used too keep one at work. It was a peacock hatchling. Used to get a lot of people who asked about it. Thought it was good advertising. Stopped doing that after one go knocked of the desk and then the replacement disappeared. Bought the third and none of my Windstones has ever left my house again.
Wish you could trust people better. 🙁
September 3, 2007 at 8:35 pm #612857I was thinking about briging one of my Butternut Poads to work to put on my desk. But I just can’t bare the thought of him disappearing on me though. Other people I work with have had stuff taken off their desks before. You just can’t trust others these days… especially the cleaning crew!

My sister did that with her Cat’s Cradle…one of the cleaning people must have went into her drawer and touched it…the ear is now chipped. It’s a shame people have to snoop and touch stuff. 👿
September 4, 2007 at 12:17 pm #612859A lot of people just don’t respect other people’s property these days. It really makes me mad. If it doesn’t belong to you… don’t touch! 😡
September 4, 2007 at 7:17 pm #612860I would be afraid to take mine to work as well. I have thought about it…but I would hate to see it get broken or worse disapear. I just have a chepo cermaic dragon sitting there (bought it for $2.50) and if it breaks or disapears then oh well.
September 5, 2007 at 7:06 am #612861I left mine on my desk for 5 minutes… thats about it. Folks just are not raised right these days.
