The sunset griffin is gorgeous! Red eyes=love.
I’m VERY ou of the loop. How did you end up with him, PhoenixTears?

Well, I made a cross country trip to hand deliver these very chocolatey pastries to Melody and while she was in sugar shock, I snuck one off the shelf and ran like the wind.

J/K! Actually it was a gift from Melody and members of the forum that participated in a plan that Nam had hatched. It’s too long to go into the why, but if you want to ask Nam, go ahead as Im sure she can explain it best (tho I know she is super busy).

But it is like what we do here (or at least what Ive been happy to be a part of 2 times recently). Members hear about hardship, someone hatches a plan to get them a Windstone and members that want to, kick in a few dollars for the piece.

Im very happy and honored to have him. In fact, I dont think my griffins will be sitting with any of my other Windstones. I think the griffins will have to go on my huge head board at the top of my bed (sounds weird but this is a huge bedroom set with light bridge and it is like a breakfront with 3 draws in the center, large surface ledge backed by 2 large mirrors and 2 tower armoires on each side holding up the light bridge above). That way they will be close to me and have no way of tipping or falling over. The hoofers will be displayed elsewhere- where the cats cant get to tho mine arent interested in statues and have never knocked any over. Riding trophys however, are a different story!

NAM- Im not surprised you know these pieces, intimately! Has your mind ever done matrixing and seen things that werent there so much so you had to ask Melody, “did you put this hidden gizmo in the sculpt cause Im seeing things?!” 😆

I love this guy, except for the red eyes. I don’t like that my eye is always drawn to them. You should see the piece as a whole, not just part of it. I’d like to see what he would look like with yellow eyes.
