I don’t plan to keep him, but I’m not sure if I’d need to change something before I offered him. What to you think? Anyone interested? As is or with a different color of mane/tail?

May 27, 2007 at 12:02 am #581546😯 Wow…I just love those flank scales! The purple seems a little odd with those other colors, but that’s probably just me.
pegasi1978’s suggestion sounds neat! 🙂
May 27, 2007 at 12:21 am #581547Very interesting color scheme…I like it a lot!! 😀
May 27, 2007 at 2:29 am #581548He is interesting. I like how you did the scales. The only thing I’m not sure I like about him is the gold nose.
While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!

May 27, 2007 at 5:50 am #581550I wouldn’t change anything except the purple. The black and antiqued fur go great together, but the purple seems misblaced, like watery black, in comaprison. Other that darkening the purple, I wouldn’t change anything on it. It’s very pretty.
May 27, 2007 at 10:26 am #581551He’s pretty…. whe nmusing about the black kirin I always think of “The 12 kingdoms”. It’s an anime, but it’s style and artwork is gorgeous! The plot is very complex while using alot of new terminology to describe different social standings and thier hierarchy.
If his fur was a matte black, (or just a very very dark gray making his scales darker than his mane that would be neat!
May 27, 2007 at 12:56 pm #581552Ok, I started with a base of aluminum and I will dry brush gunmetal grey over. I had thought about matte black too. I’ll do a part with the metal colors, then if it doesn’t work, I’ll go black.
As for the gold on the nose, in my mind, eyes and nose have to be the same color. Anything dark around the eyes makes him look like he’s got black-eyes! (It’s the turquoise dragon I’m working on who socked him one or two).
But I’m gonna check that anime, DarkLady. It might help me!
Thanks everyone!
