Do we know how many of these will be made? Are they going to be semi rare or will we have enough to go around? I always tell myself to wait…and then i end up kicking myself in the rear.

🙂 I’ve been as impatient for these guys as you’ve been! Old Warriors ALWAYS require a lot of preening. It never fails that we think they are all cleaned up and ready to go and then they turn up with dirty claws… :~
I intend to put out a New Product Announcement although these are also considered a re-stock – We’ve looked at them until they wanted to run and hide (and so did we) – we are calling them “Black Violet Peacock version 2”. If you have pressed the “notify when back in stock” button on the “Old Warrior Dragon – Black Violet Peacock” page you’ll get an email as soon as they are in the store. As far as quantity, there will be about 12 or 15 initially and then we are going to paint some more of them. So if you miss this batch, there will be more!
and oh yeah… I think we’ll have them ready for the store tomorrow morning…
Wow Im getting in on this late but OMG SO EXCITING!!!! The BEP old warrior was the first ebay piece I ever won and I still love him. Hes one of the 10 Windstones Josh allowed me to have out in “public” in the living room for all the world to see 😀 This new dragon is beautiful! Well, hes interesting-the color placement is a little weird, but I’ll definatly be getting one if they come to the store. He looks like a hybrid of BEP and BVP. I liked the BEP better for the green.
We are now calling these “Black Violet Peacock version 2”. We are so confusing.
OOOOHHHHHH! I love the OW!!! Not that I could afford one right now. 🙁 maybe in the future. Good luck to all when they come out! 😀
I am shooting for 1:00 pm PST today Jan 11,2012, to re-stock the Old Warrior – Black Violet Peacock in the store with the new version 2. If you press the “notify” button on his page you’ll get an email when I’ve restocked them.
The Old Warrior in BVP ver 2 is in the store. Something weird happened when I was entering them into the store and orders began to come through BEFORE I was done, BEFORE I put any in stock! I’ve no idea how that was possible. AND I do not believe the Back In STock messages went out! AND something seems wrong with our Announcement system and the email announcement of new items has not gone out yet either! (that was supposed to be delivered between 11 and 1) ACK!!!! I am so sorry!
Sherry is painting more of them. The Notify button should work the next time around, so if you want one and they’re out, please press the notify button again.
I just went to his page and it said he was instock . So I ordered him . The he was in the new to store front page .
Nope no annoncement from the store . There are a few left .The world was against me today. I had yesterday off and hoped the Black peacock OW would come out then, but I had to work the morning shift today. But I should have been home at 2pm. However, I missed my transfer bus because my first bus was stoopid and running almost 20 minutes late. So I was stuck at a bus stop, knowing I wouldn’t get home to almost 3 and worrying about missing out on my shiny pretty dragon, and then I am struck by a genius idea. I called my mom, who is in fact the most wonderful mom in the world, and had her order my dragon for me! /happy dance Hehe, I think she ever remembered to put in the “love fuzzy” message! So thanks to my awesome momma, I have a new pretty dragon inc! It’s also nice to get to use my gift certificates too, those things were burning holes in my pants!
I got mine today, and he’s beautiful. Might even end up being one of my favorite pieces, and he came with the cutest fuzzy! I just need more places to safely store my dragons now…
But I was suprised by his finish; the black areas are not glossy, which is just something I’m used to seeing with my Windstones. I know black gold is glossy, but were the other versions of black dragons less shiny and more of a matte like finish?
