I talked to Pam about this. Apparently they are actually black violet peacock. The painters based them on the old bvp so thats what they are.
WOO! I noticed that the BVP OW photo was just put into the products gallery, but I didn’t get my hopes up because I thought it was just an old product photo. I wonder which sculpts it will be?
BVP or BEP, whichever is fine with me!
I’m just happy to have more black based colors available as LP or RP!
I wonder though, will it replace Black Gold or simply be added as one more color?
Because if Black Gold goes, there are a couple of pieces that I want to get before it’s gone.
Well Black Gold is production and BVP is limited production so I dont think it would replace BG. I dont think BVP will be available anywhere but the Windstone store itself!
Very pretty, though I’m still hoping for a BEP OW with the more green (my BVP lap needs a partner). Grackle would work I suppose… Oh well! He is a handsome fellow though, I just have my lap dragon in that color already! I need some OW to round out the lap dragons (forgetting that my gold ow would like a silver lady still)! *lol* Oh well, they will have to be patient. Maybe other dragons will catch their fancy! 😉

I agree with this! A male would be great! I don’t own a male sculpt yet and think if this came out I’d have to get one.
those colors are not for me but I just got my Glaedr (Gold) like a week ago so I’m happy….

4. September Raffle Prize 2022 AHD Male GriffinPersonally I think this is much closer to BEP than BVP. I mean look in Melody’s gallery at the older BVP picture. There is barely any green on it.

The green and gold really stand out on this dragon. The color placement is a bit different from my prototype BEP OW, but it is similar. This one actually has more green-gold than my prototype.
The main way to tell the different from them(and they are very similar), is the wings. The trailing edge of the wings on the BEP is green. On the BVP its purple. The ears of the BEP are purple and the ears of the BVP are blue. This is the same of the OWs and the laps both.
