I would be happy to get $3,000 right now! Dang–either some people aren’t affected much by this economy or they really, really wanted this black grand! I hope they enjoy it–for that much I could get a nice entertainment center!

😮 Never having seen one, it looks beautiful, but not $3,000 beautiful. I’d have to bite the bullet and list my OW if I thought he could bring that (he couldn’t). Of course, I’m not a hoofer collector and don’t have $3,000, so that colors my thinking. 😀
Guess for the ‘haves’, this economy is a wonderful thing, LadyFirebird. Everything is cheap, so cost of living is low for them too if they wish, and that leaves lots of opportunity to buy low-sell high and have lots of money to spend on luxuries. (thinking of decent homes which are going for as low as $10-20,000 in my state, lots and lots of empty homes but rents are as high as ever. Those homes are mostly being sold cash only, so out of the reach of almost everyone here, non-official unemployment last I heard was over 20% here and most of the existing jobs low wage)
