Hi Melody! I know you’re swamped with one billion things on your To Do list, but I’d like to say I loooove the new Black Emerald Fledgling. Although I can’t see him in person, he looks more like a “Black Turquoise” or “Black-Teal” to me.

I love this color! Its so wonderful!

Is there any way we could see some other dragons, or fledglings for the store in a color similar to this? I think if you added a little yellow or orange to the sides of his teal chest and at the tops of his wings, it would look kind of tropical/carribean…like Tropical Midnight. I think this color would look amazing on a scratcher! Well…all the dragons, but the scratcher first came to my mind. So I’d like to *SQUEAK *SQUEAK* for Black turquoise dragons! The black emerald mother fetched over $300 on ebay if I remember, so she was pretty popular too!

Yeah, he isn’t really emerald, he is teal or turquoise. I was going to call him “Blackwater”
It is nice when we have an eye color that matches so well!

He is absolutely gorgeous, I put the first bid on him, knowing that I would be outbid, but just to be able to think that he was mine for about 24 hours!

I liked the first version (aka Grackle) better. v_v

I’d rather have the Black Violet Peacock colors back!!

I liked Grackle. More black emerald please! I REALLY want to see a black emerald OW (more emerald, not turquoise).

I prefer Black Emerald, but this color is lovely too.

In person his color isn’t turquoise. It’s closer to jade or dark emerald, but a little lighter. In the original photographs his markings actually turned out blue. This was the closest I could get it to looking like the actual color. Where his markings look darker in the photograph, it’s actually shading into a very deep green/emerald color.
