Well, I happened to be on the forum right as the announcement went up, and when I went to the store to check the photos out, there were 19 left of each. So I’m assuming there was only 20 of each (there was 50 each of the brown/tan). Or maybe 25 and someone bought in bulk or people were that quick?
They really did go fast. That’s a good indication there’ll be more, though. I hope, because I missed out on the first batch too…
Damn! I KNEW they would come out near the mom, and I just couldnt get online today (well, Wed). Im SO upset that I missed them even if theyll come around again. Some of you are hardcore for dragons but you never see me clamouring for any pieces. But black pieces- dang yea! I know Im tired but I really am so sad I missed this batch. I hate my timing. I did ask Susie to put me on the waiting list for them but I dont like burdening her. How many were in the batches? Any idea when the next batch is coming?
Im going off to sulk… sorry to vent’snap. ::storms off and yells into pillow:: 😥 😥 😥 😥

I got me a cute little croucher finally. I cant wait to see him! I got the mom, too, but I think that was just an impulse buy and I will end up selling her later. I dont think I have room for two mammas.
Oh i was out for the night with friends, i just one a little standing black chick 🙁 I hope there wil be some more soon.

Don’t worry, PT – there’s definitely going to be more – there was only like 20 in this first batch! I’ll bet they’ll be out soon, too. Don’t worry!

When I bought the mother I asked if the mother and chicks could be sent together and Susie held the chicks for me. That was really nice of her to do. 😀

Im willing to make a bet right here that they come back out next Thursday the 25. Why? Because thats the day Im going to be at a doctors office having something long and involved done and wont be able to get online. Willing to bet thats when theyll drop and I’ll miss even the second batch… cause Im me.
Does anyone know if the pearl crouching chick will ever be made again? Other than the wolf chicks which I didnt go for, it would be the only chick Im missing (save for the blacks which Im really hoping to land). I dont normally like white which is why I wont get the pearl adult griffins. But like the Curls, I would like the chicks in each color ever since the Sunset Blk Male was gifted me. I hadnt thought of it before I saw the male in person.
How did the purple wolf chicks go? eBay only? Just curious. I know I’ll never get those. But that one little pearl croucher… is there any hope for him to join his sibling and majorly blended Griffin family here with me? I dont have anything worth while to trade. All I could offer as a trade which is a mismatch would be a Winged Cat Sconce, or a Lion Sconce or a Wizard Cat Candlelamp (all of those are the stone finish pieces). Either of those (which are in excellent condition with no flaws I see), for the one pearl croucher if she isnt going to make any more.
Tell you what PT, if you aren’t on the next time the chicks come up. I’ll buy them for you and send them to you. Sound fair? I’m waiting for the crouchers to come back anyways.

PMed ya cause there’s a catch… Susie is holding the brown chicks I already paid for, until I can get a hold of the blk chickies. But read PM for details.Thank you for the thought and helping hand but only if you can do it. In this one instance, I have unusual extenuating circumstances when normally this would be a single buy for me and easy for someone to proxy. Youll see what I mean when you read. I love it though… the broke willing to front for the broke!
