Major hugs comin’ atcha from NJ; I know all too well what you’re going through. No matter how long they DO live, it’s never long enough for our hearts in the end. But from the sounds of things, Samps had a wonderful life with a family who loved and cherished him very much, and it doesn’t get much better than that. Keep him alive through your memories of happy times spent together. 😥
