Bird's Point Levee Breach

I’m sure Kitsunelady felt that!

They blew the levee that’s made national news just a few minutes ago. We’re about 20 or so miles away and it shook our house. They have to blow two more holes to let the water back out.

Holy wow is all I have to say!

I certainly hope it helps things.

Apparently the river in Cairo has already dropped a whole foot. Down to 60 feet from 61. I wish so badly that no one had to lose anything, but looks like this is going to work as expected and bring at least a little relief to the system as it was designed.
