My darling daughter, who is 2.5 years old, used the potty for the very first time today…after months of trying to convince her the potty was a great thing, she did it all on her own today, no prodding!
I consider it the best gift ever, since it means that someday soon, diapers will be a thing of the past…Yay!
I know, I’m weird, but I really do consider this a gift.

December 25, 2008 at 5:16 pm #747529Okay, Xmas gift giving was a hit, everyone got way more than they needed, but it was so much fun to surprise them with all the goodies.
Karli’s main gift is a complete and utter hit, she got a http://www.hasbro.com/furreal/default.cfm?page=Products/Detail&product_id=17783
We found it at a clearance wherehouse for $50 brand new , the box was damaged, but the pony was fine. He does a lot more than he shows in the store, course those get beat on and the batteries worn out fast. But he turns his head both directions, responds to sound and touch, nods its head and clops when a child sits on him…he is just really cute.
Alex got piles of video games, I got a new digital camera, can’t wait to pry it out of its packaging, my Lord it is really bombproof the way they packed it.
Kris got spoiled to death, but he really loved the http://cgi.ebay.com/RADIO-CONTROL-VOLKSWAGEN-BUG-1-6-SCALE-BEETLE-BUGGY_W0QQitemZ250346347172QQihZ015QQcategoryZ19167QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
That is currently charging up and is gonna go for a trip in the snow very soon! LOL!
Bill loved his Pig gargoyle, and was astounded that I managed to get him one that was mint in box…it had never been opened either, the tape on the box was so old that when I opened it to check on it upon arrival, the tape didn’t really stick, I pulled it off and it became just a strip of plastic.

December 25, 2008 at 5:47 pm #747530December 26, 2008 at 4:01 am #747531Well I would have posted some Xmas pictures from my camera, etc, but the storm last night made the power go out a couple times and this morning when I tried to do anything beyond the internet, it all failed. Had a .dll file corrupted beyond repair and had to reinstall Windows, oy. Kris just now got it back up.
Anyway I have to go to bed now…so I will catch all you guys tomorrow and see if I can’t manage to get some pictures posted.
Night all!

December 26, 2008 at 5:53 am #747532Sounds like you had a lovely Christmas Day, Kyrin. That FurReal pony looks cute.
December 26, 2008 at 6:25 am #747533I LOVE that Furreal pony Kyrin… 😉 I was thinking of getting him for Maks (my dobe) but he would distroy him and $300 or so is just way too much for us to spend on something he would tear apart….LOL 😀
It does sound like you had a wonderful day tho… 😉
