I absolutely love this pattern on the Griffins! The one on ebay looks like he could just come to life and fly away π
If you don’t mind me asking how many test paint ones have you painted? Have you painted any females or chicks? Are you really considering painting some limited production!!? I am so excited π π πAugust 13, 2009 at 5:12 pm #779826Griffinlover wrote:I absolutely love this pattern on the Griffins! The one on ebay looks like he could just come to life and fly away π

I am so excited π π πAll test paints are possibilities for production .. I like this color pattern so much I am calling this griffin a “test paint” instead of an “Artist’s edition” because I wanted to leave a loophole for myself to paint something similar as limited production. We really need a good “natural ” looking griffin color as production, and this is the one I like best, so far.
I have painted three or four silver bengals, but only one of those is good enough to sell, and just this one brown Bengal so far. I plan to do more of them .I haven’t painted hens and chicks yet, but I will.
* note* I couldn’t find the Bengal griffin on our ebay listing! Turns out we misspelled “Windstone” so you’ll need to search on “Winston” instead!or Bengal griffin.Or go here:

August 14, 2009 at 12:41 am #779831I agree-this is a nice looking ‘natural’ griffin. Would love to see him in the store! Someone posted that he looks real enough to get up and fly! I think is is absolutely beautiful! Wouldn’t mind a family of these! π

August 15, 2009 at 6:43 pm #779833Melody!
I know these are really hard to paint, but I’m syre if they were a Limited Proction we all know we would expect them to be a little more expensive then usual due to the intricate markings!
PLEASE make some like this for limited production PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!How much would you guys pay for one in the store if Melody was able to make them as Limited Productions???
I say around $350? Maybe a little more? Less? What does everyone think???*LET MY SQUEAK BE HEARD!* π³

But I can’t imagine that would be cost effective = seems like all those spots and stripes would take waayy too long. I loooooove his wing markings too…<3<3<3
But yeah, if Windstone can make this guy in limited production I could probably save like 400 from a few paychecks to buy one…I just LOVE how BUSY his markings are!
August 16, 2009 at 2:31 am #779835I would pay more for one of those guys, although I think i’d prefer a silver one with orange eyes π

*chuckles* On the other hand, more griffins out there might cut DOWN on the bloodletting, envy, and grudges! π π
