I’m not 100% sure but I think it’s a juvenile red-tailed hawk. They where close to each other one day.
Yes, you’re right… it’s a juvie redtail. π

The last 2 of the goldfinch are excellent… as well as the the ones of the redpolls. They are all very pretty though.May 6, 2008 at 2:54 am #689628travistie wrote:I was waiting for these pics to get posted! π

They are all very pretty though.π Sorry it took me so long to post them but between cleaning the house, π supper, taking care of my son, posting the ebay sales, copyrighting all the pictures then loading them on the site so I can then load them on the forum…(take a breath)…took me forever. π
π― But then I discovered they were to big and had to reload them all πThanks for the compliments! π
May 6, 2008 at 3:00 am #689629Oh, I know you must get busy. I was just eagerly awaiting the pretty birdies! π
I miss my PA home with my parents, cause I would just sit out on the back porch after dinner and watch the birds. We had 5 different feeders… so there was always something to see. Now I’m in a 3rd floor apartment, and there is not much to see here! The people downstairs have a thistle feeder for the goldfinches. They get a few.May 8, 2008 at 3:26 am #689630May 8, 2008 at 3:29 am #689631Wow. That moss is amazing…I love the clarity of your photos.

You should get into stock photography like my brother-in-law does.May 8, 2008 at 11:39 pm #689634I love the trillium and the pink whatever it is!! π
May 8, 2008 at 11:41 pm #689635I think the next time I visit my parents I’ll be bringing my flower identification books home with me. That purple/pink flower looks so familiar, but since I can’t thumb through them I can’t say what it is.
May 8, 2008 at 11:43 pm #689636I’m probably the oddball…but I like the moss!!!! π π π π

Some are from the flowershop but the trillium and moss are from my mom’s place and the plum tree is from my friend Monique’s. My flower are having a hard time since the flood. π

So that makes us two oddball π
I prefer moss over flowers but it can be very difficult to capture since for some reason it never turns out right.
I was lucky for this one.And thanks Pegasi! π
