How long have you been interested in photography? Did you take any classes or have any instruction or is all your beautiful work natural born talent? I still think you could support yourself and Michel on your art work. And thankies so much for the chipmunk pix; they are adorable!

I’ve been interested in Nature all my life but I only discovered photography in 1994. I purchase a $500 camera but still didn’t take good enough pictures. 🙁 And I didn’t have the money to start taking multiple pictures and get the films developed every time. My sunsets and sunrise were really good though!
Then came the new technology and I got as a present a “cheap” digital camera/cam and I could load them on the computer. But the picture quality was terrible!
I upgraded to a Kodak easyshare and and was satified with it but from taking so many sunset I burned the sensor inside 🙁 . I learned my lesson there!
Then it was one camera after the next since the cameras I would get my boyfriend to purchase (at his work so I could pay less money for them but I did say NEW to him) were either returns or “open box” so they all had something wrong with them.
Finaly I went to a different store myself and purchased one that was brand new! My Canon S5IS!
I’ve never taken any classes but was inspired by what I saw in cards and prints every where.
I’ve had also a passion for wildlife all my life and that would explain why I like to draw anymals.(haven’t been doing it in years 🙁 )So that’s the story and I’m sticking with it! 😆

The day that those pictures were taken it had rain all night and morning. I wasn’t sure if they would turn out nice since it was really overcast that day. I played with the camera setting until I could get one that was bright enough and I still had to use my program to lighten it a bit. I never want to modify pictures but it’s a shame sometimes when you know the picture would be nice if it wasn’t so dark. 🙄
