Pillows don’t hurt as much. I’m sorry you’re having a hard time, and I’m sure if we all weren’t as poor as you are right now then we would have picked up your pieces. I really want those black golds but I am very poor and can’t afford your basic offers.

I suppose there’s got to be a bright side to everything, you got that cool ruby lap from Melody and Monty’s fine and healthy now, right? Not necessarily in that order.

Ok I’m being too nosy now I will shut up…Please don’t yell at me…

Don’t be sad Dracomancer! I’m commissioning you 😀

I don’t know anyone who isn’t have money problems right now. Everything is just so hard and expensive these days. They keep trying to “stimulate” the economy, but when they keep refusing health insurance and keep pay rates as low as possible for the middle class, while at the same time jacking up prices of gasoline and every other necessity required for a normal life, recession is inevitable. It’s just the time we live in and the people who run this country who ruin it for everyone else. Everyone is experiencing it in one form or another.

Well…except the rich hogs in congress who keep driving their gas guzzling hummers back and forth to their triple decker mansions that were probably furnished by us taxpayers. LOL!

They have cars that run on water and electricity, but refuse to manufacture them because it will create automobile distributors to loose money by actually making a long lasting vehicle that requires little to no fuel and doesn’t have any harmful effects on the environment. Then they cram stimulus checks down our throats as an apology for how hard we get screwed, but It’s sort of funny when you get past how completely selfish our policies are. They would rather destroy the earth then do something to benefit it because they can’t compensate themselves from it…but wait…I just went on a rant didn’t I? LOL!

I have to stop or I’ll just go on and on about how I think if we keep it up mother nature is going to bitch slap us! Actually, I think she already has had quite enough with all the horrible weather disasters that have been occurring around the world the past few years.

Anyway…these are the things I think about when I’m down. It’s probably not the best thing, but being a pessimist and hardly even the optimist…things could be much worse, ya know?

I agree with Dragon87 and Drag0nfeathers. I would definitely ask you to do a commission for me, but it is the money problems that I am having right now that is preventing me from doing just that. To tell you the truth, I was hoping you wouldn’t sell the flapcat from Melody because you’d kick yourself in the butt for it later! 😀

I probably shouldn’t even spend the money myself, because of my own bills and my animals…but I can always sell something on ebay so I try not to worry about it. Though I think I have about $40 in ebay fees I have to pay at this point 😉 There are more important things in life then money. As long as I can afford to keep a roof over my head and keep my pets fed and healthy I could care less if my credit cards get out of control.

We’re in a recession. My business is worse right now than it has been since I went full time at it. Nobody has any money.

          #713546

Sadly, everyone is right. It’s not that we don’t want to buy, or commission. It’s just that we don’t have any money. My hours next week have been cut to 17… I can’t pay any of my bills with that….. I might be out on the street soon if this keeps up. 🙁

Agreed, mine too. I’ve been doing art part-time since about 1998 and full time the last three years. This is the worst it’s been. Almost all of my (few) sales have been from international buyers.

After being self-employed since 1998, I’ve gone back to work full time.

It’s not what I wanted, but you do what you have to.

There is a known trend that this ALWAYS happems on the dawn of a new President. I just hope things will change on January when the new one gets in office
