June 25, 2009 at 10:54 pm #498563June 25, 2009 at 11:12 pm #771670Yeah my husband called me on his way in to work to tell me about Michael Jackson. I’d almost forgotten about David Carradine.
June 25, 2009 at 11:26 pm #771671Rest in Peace……You all will be missed! 😥 🙁
June 25, 2009 at 11:47 pm #771672I was pretty upset a bit ago, on another forum I had read that Jeff Goldblum had also died today, due to a fall while filming his new movie in New Zealand.
THEN I read that this was NOT true. I have no idea what to think after hearing about Farrah and Michael.
June 26, 2009 at 12:07 am #771673Wow… Damn…
May they all Rest In Peace.
June 26, 2009 at 12:15 am #771674Sad to see Ed McMahon go, but it is merciful in a way. He had bone cancer and that is said to be quite painful. He was quite an entertainer. Same for David Carradine (at least he died feeling at least somewhat happy if he did indeed die from doing what they think he was doing, though he should have known better than to do that totally unsupervised… that was dangerous 😕 ), and Farrah Fawcett with cancer.
I think the only one I’m not sad to see go is Michael Jackson. I liked his earlier music before he started getting ‘eccentric’, but we’ve been having a ball in the office the last few hours with commentary about him (man, I wish I had tape recorded it… the commentary was hysterical 😛 ). I’m probably going to some sort of hell for this (or something), but I actually cheered when I saw the official announcement. 😳 :spank:
Eleu, we heard the hoax for Jeff Goldblum and Harrison Ford being dead today as well. Again… both appear to totally be a hoax thankfully.

I really hope so, I love Jeff Goldblum, I keep trying to go to the site that says it, but can’t get on 😡 ***Just heard that E News confirmed that this was a hoax. What is wrong with people?!

They have too much time on their hands with all of this technology? 😕
June 26, 2009 at 12:53 am #771677I was so surpirsed to hear about Michael Jackson! One co-worker said that things like thing usually happens in clusters–Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson and I also forgot about David Carradine. It just blows me away and all in this month!
May they all rest in peace.

I can’t say I was upset about Michael Jackson either. Was never a fan of his music, or him as a person… Guess I’m joining you right there in hell, siberakh1…. move over.I am sad to hear about the rest of them though. May they (all) rest in peace.
June 26, 2009 at 2:00 am #771679I had forgotten about David Carradine. My morning started off with the news of Farrah Fawcett dying, and Michael Jackson blew me away today. He was only 50. May they rest in peace.

Oh, so did I. I have his Thriller/greatest hits Album and still have my vhs tape with the premiere of the ‘Black or White’ video from VH1 back in the day. He made a great contribution to music, there isn’t any denying that but over a decade ago. Nothing but publicity hype, creepiness and eccentricity after that. I feel sorry for his kids that they lost their father, but I can’t say I feel any heartache for his passing (15 years ago I might have), but not that I would go around wishing ‘omg, I hope x person keels over today’. *shrug* To each their own.
June 26, 2009 at 3:46 am #771682How terrible 🙁 I’m especially sadden by the news of Michael Jackson, as I grew up with his music. And well, if was so sudden (he’s young!)! I never got caught up in the Michael bashing and instead felt really sorry for him because you’ve got to have some mental/emotional problems to behave that way. This month sucks.
