Well after 7 weeks off and 5 months out of the field I go back to work today 🙁 I’m not ready to go back lol. I feel sorry for the first patient I have to start an iv on because its been so long since I’ve done one. It wouldn’t be so bad if my regular partner was working with me but he’s off this whole trick so I have no clue who I’ll be working with. I’m so out of shape I’m sure I’m going to have a hard time with the stretcher. Oh yeah if anyone from the factory reads this you can’t put the rainbow old warriors in the store until I get home from work. I can’t buy things on the internet at work.

Yeah, going back to work after being off for so long really does suck! I feel ya on that! You’ll do fine though, and be back into the swing of things before you know it. 😀

I felt the same way after being out of a job for a month….but at the same time it is nice to be making my own money again. You’ll be fine. I have faith in you! 😀

You’ll be back in the swing of things in not too much time, I think: your fingers will remember how to do everything, and so long as you’re a little careful at first your lifting strength will come back pretty fast. Still, may the first patient who needs an IV have veins like a horse and no squeamishness whatsoever. And may the stretcher patients all be either light or at least really good at holding still! 🙂

Lol I leave for work and my husband makes a forum account so he can pester me. All I did at work today was sit at the shop because the medic needed its pm done. It took all day 😡
