If you don’t have a boppy and you are having a girl, I have the cutest one ever I can send you.
It’s pink with butterflies all over the cover. I loved it, but my baby is big now…almost 2 years old…where did the time go??
Glad the baby shower went well, both of mine were awful. No one came, everyones schedule conflicted. While I had all I needed for the baby, I felt pretty neglected and unloved. No one showing up for such an important life event is depressing.

And here I thought my garage baby shower ordeal was bad.March 6, 2008 at 1:56 am #674514purpledoggy wrote:Kyrin wrote:Glad the baby shower went well, both of mine were awful. I didn’t even get a baby shower, but that happens when you live 6+ hours from one side of the family and 12+ hours from the other.March 6, 2008 at 2:15 pm #674515Mine’s coming up next week-end. I’m a little nervous…don’t do so well around large groups of people…even when I know them all. π

March 6, 2008 at 6:46 pm #674516Sounds like you had a great baby shower and everything went well. Keep us posted
March 6, 2008 at 6:52 pm #674517Why do they call it a Baby Shower? You are not washing the Baby??
I guess it’s was set up by our materialistic society since people gather and shower the parents to be wiht gifts. I also wonder if all the gifts get used over time??
I pretty much feel the same for valentines day. Why only show that love one day a year? Show it all yaar long

That is depressing. π They didn’t throw my shower until after I had my daughter and I thought I wasn’t getting one. I was really heartbroken.
DM, it isn’t just the gifts, it the gathering of women (now men, too) to show support to you and joy for the next generation. The gifts get used if they are sensible gifts. It’s not always easy to finance a baby and everything sensible you are given helps out. π

I’ll go thru labor for u!! I’d kill to be in you position right now! (grumbles away to be miserable cause I’m still not pregnant) I saw ur shower pics on myspace, looks like you had a great time!Oh and DM, they call it a shower because you “shower” the mother with gifts and attention.
March 6, 2008 at 9:08 pm #674521YEAH BUT again it was created for commercial uses.
Sorry I have always felt that you should not have kids if you can’t support them yourself. That is a LARGE part of the reason I only have the 4 legged kids that only need food, water treats, litter and LOVE.
Sorry tired of the American spending society. I have realized that is why I’m so far in debt so I’m retaliating in order to tye to get a game plan to get out of debt.

Really?!?! I would LOVE that! I was looking at them today, and I wanted to buy one, but I kept on looking at the price tag. π
I am sorry that your baby showers weren’t good. If I was there, I would have come! Your baby is very special!March 7, 2008 at 12:16 am #674523purpledoggy wrote:Did you get a boppy? If not go out and get one because they are life savers! Labor isnt that bad. If I could go thru it for you I would.
haha….I am thankful for your offer, and it is actually comforting to know that you would be willing to go through it for me! So, maybe it won’t be as bad as I anticipate?
I was wondering if Boppys were really necessary or not. πMarch 7, 2008 at 12:18 am #674524March 7, 2008 at 12:19 am #674525DragonMistress wrote:eaglefeather831 wrote:I know…does anybody want to go through labor for me? So I don’t have to! π
