She’s sweet.
It only gets better from here.
Patrick was colicky and his crying fit time was 3-5 am. I remember crying to Mike one night: “This is never going to end!” But it did. Right around 6 weeks. Truely the hardest time in my life.
It sounds like you’re holding up well. Much better than I was!
Babies are hard! And if you feel like it: Crying is OK! I don’t think I cried as much as after I had Patrick. Figured out later, I had severe ppd.
I was ready to make a sign: Free To Good Home!She’s very cute! I love the last picture – she looks like she is plotting mischief or thinking “man, it is weird out here!”

I was very lucky with my first… in two weeks she was going to bed at 9pm, sleeping all through the night… My second… NOT so lucky! lol Both girls and I didn’t breast feed either of them.
She looks great, except for the jaundice, but thankfully that is normal and goes away pretty quick. Her liver is still figuring it out after having help all this time.
The breast swelling will go down, where you only get swollen when it is close to feeding time, or you’ve missed a feeding. You’ll know when Alyssa sleeps longer than normal, cause you will pay, as you already discovered. 🙂 But as your body adjusts to Alyssa’s needs it will get easier, I promise.
You just have to weather this first few weeks, then things will settle and you will get into a routine that works.

Lol hubby is mad at me because I used two packs of his frozen cranberries as ice packs last night. I forgot to put them back in the freezer before they thawed out and now they are no good. I told him they are by cranbooby ice packs now. 😆 They worked so much better then frozen corn so I couldn’t help but use them.

Bleh I just got an email from my mom saying she wants her digital camcorder back. She let me borrow it because mine is an outdated pos but now she wants it back. I wouldn’t be upset about it if I hadn’t gone out and bought a bunch of mini dvd’s for it. I don’t have the receipt for them so I can’t take them back. I should have known better then to borrow it from her in the first place but oh well. She is starting to nag that she wants to come over now lol. She hardly ever comes in my house because she complains about my cat and always nit picks everything in my house (especially the dragons). So I don’t let her over since she has nothing nice to say. I actually got two hours of sleep last night, yay! I was awoken by a giant wet fart signaling that Alyssa needs a diaper change. Its so funny because she poo’s so loud she scares herself and starts to cry. I can’t help but laugh every time she does it.
😆 😆 😆 It’s always funny when your little ones startle themselves! The first time Ethan ever laughed was when Sean had an especially loud case of hiccups. Sean would hiccup and he would ‘jump’ because he startled himself and Ethan would ‘jump’ at the noise then he’d start to belly laugh! It was hysterical! Alyssa is darling!
