Today, October 30, 2024, we have introduced the Baby Ki-Rin in Copper Patina. We have also re-stocked the Standing Baby Ki-Rin in Copper Patina, and in the original brown and white Ki-Rin color. We sent out an email newsletter announcement about these, and anyone who was on the waitlist for one of those Standing Baby Ki-Rins should have received a “Back in stock” email about them.

For those who do not know, the Baby Ki-Rin in the original brown and white color was retired years ago, so we won’t be making more of them in that color. The Standing Baby Ki-Rin in the Albino color (with pink or blue eyes) is another that we will not make again – we made only a signed limited edition of “small footed” Standing Baby Ki-Rins in 2015.

If you have any questions, please email me at service@windstoneeditions.com Thank you! -Susie

Susie, to your knowledge is the mother kirin in the albino color retired as well?

I’m thrilled to have been able to add the Standing Baby Ki-Rin in the traditional Windstone Ki-Rin family colors to my old Ki-Rin family collection.

As much as I love copper patina, ancient steel has won my heart as the “recovery” color. Hrmm, when can I get a scaley pony in that, I wonder?

            *cough*

Whiteraven: As far as I know, the Mother Ki-Rin in albino with pink or blue eyes is not retired, however we are not making more of them any time soon. I’m not sure, but we may still have a shortage of adult Ki-Rin horns which prevents us from making batches of them (but it could be another reason!).
