Well, I underwent bit of a large repair job for fun and to help out azurielle’s poor little crushed babies! I just got the patients today! I was waiting for Koishii’s PYO Keeper I won on ebay and got these little guys instead. *Happy Birthday to me! LOL!*
UPDATE! Woo! I just got the Keeper from Fed Ex (YAYS) 😆
Some are not too badly damaged and some others are a little worse for wear, I figured I’d post a thread I can update regularly since there were quite a few WIndstones here. So it would be educational for those who want to repair their own Windstones, as well as update azurielle on the progress of her repairs without cramming tons of photos in PMs. (for some reason PMs seem to take me forever to send w/ pics… at least with my shit internet connection)
So here are the patients. (as each one gets fixed I’ll post better pictures)
Time to go to work! They’re in good hands azurielle! Fear not! 😉

Oh Dragonfeathers, I glad they got there all right! Thank you again so much for fixing them for me. I’ll watch this thread, and maybe next time, I’ll be able to fix them myself. (with 6 cats, a dog and a toddler, I imagine there will sadly be a next time. )

My husband made a cursory attempt to fix some of them, but was afraid to mess them up. (He actually got a hold of a few badly damaged windstones off craigslist, and is trying to figure out how to fix/repait them just “in case” this ever happens again. I think he’s actually sort of having fun with it, but’s just easy pieces to start, like unis.) You’d have to see closeups pics of each one to see most of the damage.

Believe it or not, little chips are one of the hardest things to fix. It seems like the bigger the chunk the easier it is to disguise it.

Well, I’ve got the Cat Gargoyle and the 2 youngs almost all set. I’ll get the kitty done next and get the first batch on their way back to you soon! Pics to come soon 🙂

Glad you are able to pick up some of the patients, DragOnfeathers. I’ve been working 60 hour weeks, have 20 patients here already, with a waiting list of more, and no time. On top of that, I can’t get off of work before the post office and shipping store close anymore, so even when I get things done, I can’t ship them home.
Going to start having Cyberhorn take them to the shipping store, but need to arrange a charge account with Maxine first so he can.

Thank you Kyrin, but I’ll leave the master repair work to you. This was kind of a pro bono repair job for “just because” I guess. 🙂 I actually am begining to loathe repairing Windstones! LOL! It gives me a break from painting though and I want to improve my sculping skills so I can maybe start sculpting myself someday 😀 It’s not the repairing part that bothers me so much, it’s the repainting it to make it match 🙄
How I miss doing repaints! 😥
