I was wandering Ebay and came across a DVD called “Attack of the Gryphon” – has anyone seen this movie and is it any good? LOL
April 15, 2007 at 6:19 am #490511April 15, 2007 at 6:22 am #562326Sounds like a ‘B’ movie. Those can be lots of fun!! 😛

It kinda looks like one too, from the description! :X
April 15, 2007 at 7:29 am #562328Never heard of it 😆 There is a B movie out there called “Cerberus” if you are into that kind of thing. Its good for a laugh.
April 15, 2007 at 1:45 pm #562329I’ve never heard of it either…but here’s a review and some other infoabout it…

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmApril 15, 2007 at 3:18 pm #562331That looks so cheesy. How come the griffin has to be the bad guy? Though I do wonder how well he was put on screen…

It was a “made for SciFi channel” movie. They are usually bad. The mini-series are good, but the movies are bad. They usually feature a fantasy creature or really big snake as a monster that needs to be destroyed by the people. Same thing every time. I just refuse to watch them anymore. Horrible plot, horrible acting, and usually really bad CGI.
“Dragon King” was good though. It was a mini-series. It’s based on the myth of Sigfried and the Dragon from Norse mythology, I think. Or Finnish mythology. There was actually a plot and some okay acting. The dragon wasn’t bad either, but I can’t remember if it had wings or not.
April 15, 2007 at 4:42 pm #562333I saw the last half of this movie on the Sci-Fi channel. It suffers from really bad acting and a very poorly animated griffin. Like most B movies it’s so cheesy it’s funny.
April 15, 2007 at 9:35 pm #562334That’s the fun thing about B-movies… Gives you a good excuse to sit, provide commentary and laugh!!!
April 15, 2007 at 10:54 pm #562335Mystery SciFi Theatre anyone? 😛
April 16, 2007 at 3:28 am #562336You know, I don’t really care if the gryphon is evil or not, I just want to know if the CGI of it is any good! LOL Then I can oogle it and not care about the actual plot 😉
April 16, 2007 at 4:40 am #562337I usually concentrate on the CGI, too. That’s why I was curious. It was the only thing worth paying attention to in Eragon… That and the horses.

Ohhhh boooo! Poorly animated! Alright, no need to see it then.
It does amuse me how one gryphon could hold TWO empires randsom LOL
