My art: featherdust.comHi guys! I really do dislike advertising myself, I always feel so conceited when I do. But we’re in a bit of a spot. I can’t sell my Windstones because they are stored away where I can’t really get to them, so I’m offering artwork. We have always been super careful with money, but a combo of getting hit with lots of unexpected bills at once (emergency vet visits for two of the pets, urgent care medical bills for us, sudden unexpected car repair, finding out suddenly that we need a new hot water tank and heating system, etc) and not having my pieces on eBay have hit us hard. We won’t have Christmas this year but I want to at least make sure we pay our bills! So… a sale!

Commissions:
I am also offering a very limited number of commission slots. I have a spare set of 4 watercolor art boards. These are special clayboard (hard, like masonite, and thick) that are treated to take watercolors well. These were pretty pricey to get and I can take up to four commissions (as I have 4 extra boards). The style of the commissions is as below:
Inked outline, and loose watercolor colors. The texture of these boards is like a very fine grit sandpaper and they look wonderful. They are totally archival and should last a lifetime or more. The size is 5″ x 5″ square. I cannot alter the size- there is no way to cut this type of board. Due to the size, the pieces shown above are the maximum amount of detail I can get in on the board.
Unfortunately I do not have the time nor space to take any other commissions right now. Just these 4 watercolor commissions!
I will paint the following themes: Animals, fantasy creatures, landscapes … please, at this time I am not taking on commission work for people (such as portraits or faces, etc) or man made items (such as cars, buildings, etc). Dark subject matter (e.g. dark colored things or animals such as black cats/dogs/wolves, etc) will often be not as ‘dark’ as you’d expect in watercolor.

My art: featherdust.comThis is really tempting… the problem is what I would ask might be too big on a 5×5 size. Do dragons fit? I’m thinking it might be too detailed for that size.

It can! It depends. All of the images above are 5″ x 5″. 🙂
