I took the winter tires off the car this morning. It might finally be done snowing. They’ll be back on in 3 months.

Three? You think it’s gonna be that long? I’m thinking more like, by the end of June we’re gonna need some winter tires. *has great confidence in the weather of Alberta*

And I think the hot office is from all of that magical methane coming from Snap eating cows (see the going green thread). 😆

Hey, we don’t have pooting contests every day at the office.

The boss keeps threatening to hire a girl to make us “act more professional” but I told him it would backfire and she’d be worse than us.

I wouldn’t want to live someplace that cold. I like seasons but spring and fall are my favs…not winter. 😀

I love fall. Around here it lasts about … 10-12 days maximum though. One week it will be 100 outside, then it will drop to 60-70 for a week, then it will snow and go to -20. And that’s usually around beginning of September.

It has snowed here at the end of May. I was part of a cleanup crew in Elk Island National Park cleaning up hundreds of busted trees that had come out of hibernation and sprouted. Heavy, wet, sloppy snow.

Hey, then there’s always that day in what.. July? … when it rained/hailed/snowed so much that the east/west freeway disappeared and West Edmonton Mall had the roof collapse.

The amazing part was how much solid ice was left over when the water finally drained: (this underpass was flooded to the bottom of the bridge – those cars are TOAST – they were underwater)

Snow and ice in July!!! That’s incredible!!! 😮

I hear you about the brief autumn weather. We don’t have very much ourselves. Although to you, our winter would probably seem like autumn. 😆

How did you get involved in the Elk Island clean up crew?

Nope. The windows are double glaze, covered with 12mm security film with tint and solar/UV rejection, then covered again by 3% blinds.

                  Keep trying 😀
So I guess that cancels out the SUN.
At my place when it’s sunny, I don’t have to heat since it gets real warm with the sun comming in through the windows. 😉
